Anyone else excited to see Fnatic play with their new temp player?
Leo was obviously amazing and a big reason for their success in Split 1 but I can't wait to see how they'll perform with a new player.
Especially after the hype that was built around his career in Tier 2.

To each their own : )

Issue with a team like FUT is... their performance thus far doesn't inspire confidence in them making it far even if they qualify to champions.

Apart from the obvious contenders (G2, 100T) , I'm watching Loud, KRU and Cloud9 to surprise us.

Yea, KOI has no shot.

I want a tournament with exclusively the weakest VCT teams of each region. I think it'd be quite interesting and I'm curious as to how they'd perform against each other.
Teams like KOI, GiantX, DFM, GE, Bleed, MIBR, Furia and more.

An unfortunate downfall :/

why maybe?

Meh, anyone who thinks Demon1 isn't crazy talented is just dumb

posted 5 months ago

I just wish they were more consistent.

posted 5 months ago

Any1 who thought Lock-In was mickey mouse is just mad their team didn't win.
2023 Lock-In was arguably the best VCT tournament so far

posted 5 months ago

The way they lost the past 3 rounds are crazy pathetic. They've showed very weak gameplay. It's a gg of them having any shot at making it this year

posted 5 months ago

That's a fact

People seem to forget that the sub was in no way a handicap in this scenario. I'm willing to bet that in another universe where MiniBoo did end up playing, TH could've just as well not made it to the finals. Would not have surprised me.
And I'm not saying this as a TH hater, I'm saying this as a TH and GenG fan

You forgot about GenG

For the first time, I feel like Americas is weaker than EMEA and Pacific

posted 5 months ago

Benkai & Blazeking are ruining their future in esports... rip

posted 5 months ago

The guy is basically ruining his own career. It's bad enough being arguably the worst team in VCT but... when you're causing trouble, you're basically asking to get kicked and forgotten.

Agent ban would be real cool, I'd really like that.

posted 5 months ago

Yea my bad, overhyped is the correct word.

posted 5 months ago

That's funny. Sen is hands down the overrated team

posted 5 months ago

Kinda... They have such potential but always choke

posted 5 months ago

People just high on copium

posted 5 months ago

They both have crazy talent and great potential to win Champions

posted 5 months ago

The more South Korean teams, the better ;p

posted 5 months ago

Context? Something happened to cNed?

posted 5 months ago

As a GenG and DRX fan, I do not approve.
I like seeing them each as individual teams as all those South Korean players that were excluded have crazy potential. Thinking of Beyn and Karon especially.
Both teams have a real shot of making it far in Champions.

Meiy, Sayf, Leo, Aspas, Demon1

Who's yukky?

posted 5 months ago

I agree but...
Recently is the key word here. Same can be said for 2023 T3xture, 2023 Zekken, 2024 Demon1. More examples can easily be found. Top players that have fallen of. y0y is also a prime example.
The point is that they were crazy good in their time. They would've been considered a top 5 player back then.

posted 5 months ago

The skill difference between top players aren't very drastic in Valorant imo.
It's hard to confidently say who the top 5 players are as all that's required is for a player to change team, and boom. The guy went from arguably a top 30 players to a top 5 (Ofc it's not as simple as a team change but you get the idea). T3xture is a prime example of that.
His performance in GE wasn't terrible but he wasn't anything impressive. Now in GenG he's been performing crazy good and very consistently.

But I guess the theory does apply in a way that each winning team tends to have at least one player who performs insanely well. The ability to win points with clutch 1v3 situations or starting of a round with an instant pick or two.
Players like T3xture, Meteor, Aspas, Zekken, Leo, Derke, Chronicle, Demon1 and more.

Surely they'll end up nerfing him right? I don't play Valorant often and would rather watch it but... When I played for the first time since the update yesterday, Iso looked a bit overpowered

posted 5 months ago

I want to see y0y playing again

posted 5 months ago

Ok?

posted 5 months ago

Oh yea, such a great video!

posted 5 months ago

Despite his performance, it's always fun to watch him player. Wether he fails or succeeds

posted 5 months ago

I highly doubt they will with DRX, PRX and GenG in the picture

posted 5 months ago

Definitely... And what's funny is people say TS is potentially top3 Pacific after having two close maps against the worst team in Pacific...

posted 5 months ago

Just... No

posted 5 months ago

For real... Would be nice to have a almost full Indian team. So far they've just got 1

posted 5 months ago

Ummm... Nah xD

posted 5 months ago

I'm sure he'll come back

posted 5 months ago

Post your opinions, I'm curious!
Mine (Keeping in mind that I barely followed Valorant eSports in 2021)

  1. Fnatic 2023
  2. Loud 2022
  3. Gambit 2021
  4. EG 2023
  5. GenG 2024
posted 5 months ago

That's a fair point... But hey, I guess it's still a trophy which is what matters to the team and players.

posted 5 months ago

Idk :/

Karon is currently known for popping up out of nowhere and showing us some amazing performance in Tier 1.
What are some other players in the past years you think came from a similar begining in Valorant (little to no pro experience) and has performed incredibly well in their debut year?

posted 5 months ago

I love seeing "nobodies" to the average player randomly being picked up in a tier 1 team and absolutely shred proving their worth.

posted 5 months ago

I do believe that 2024 is such a weak year for VCT.
It started with Madrid having such extremely inconsistent performances. Imo the biggest Mickey mouse tourney in VCT yet.
But it's been a steady climb up heading into Shanghai and hoping for more consistent and clean gameplay in Champions.
Apart from GenG starting to show some crazy strong gameplay, this year's teams would struggle hard in 2023

posted 5 months ago

Thanks for this! I had no clue who he was as I don't watch Tier 2 other than South Korea and NA.
