That was one HELL of a way to win a game!
Impressive af!
Valorant is far from dead...
It's quite simple to see which games are going down the drain and Valorant isn't one of them.
Fair point but be thankful the game you're playing is owned by riot games and not Blizzard, EA etc.
Yes, riot is also sht and far from perfect but it's still the lesser evil
Meh, that match didn't mean anything. I don't think they won anything from this
Did EDG lose 2-0 because they didn't play well with their new player or was DRG that good? I couldn't watch the game
So if I understand correctly, the team with the most points from each region gets qualified, regardless of ranking in play-off as the 4th team.
And the top 3 in play-offs get qualified.
Am I wrong or missing something?
GenG v TS will be very entertaining.
TS has been looking really good. And last time they went against each other, it was a real close game.
Tho GenG has improved a lot since then so I do think it'll be a win for them.
As for DRX v Talon, idk. Both teams are crazy inconsistent. Will be a painful game to watch as I expect a lot of choking from both sides
TenZ is easily top 10... weakest player in VCT
"I made a mistake and made this in americas time and they are not the brightest so again"
This made me laugh.
I don't think it's a problem... I feel like players just struggle to stay at the top when you've got constant new talent popping up and getting the better of them. And imo, it's good. Makes it even more impressive when a top tier player manages to stay at the top.
Eitherway, I still feel like some of the players mentioned here aren't really washed. They may not be performing their best but that doesn't mean they're washed. I'm sure most will make a comeback. And those who don't... oh well
Looking at how well 2023 Tier 2 players are doing this year, what are some players you'd recommend checking out with great potential of performing in VCT 2025
T0nZ and y0y
I'm talking more about a turkish stacked team
I know right... so many crazy talent turkish players.
Surprising that they've never won an international tournament or ever gotten close to it
Leo carried Fnatic in 2024 when the rest of the team was performing quite badly
t3xture, wo0t, Demon1, Jawgemo, leaf, f0rsaken, Alfajer, Derke, Meteor
Usually it ends up being the teams that perform well
It's a shame that a player like him is stuck as a stand-in.
Imo he was TH's second best player (after wo0t) during Shanghai.
I'd love to see him as part of the main roster on any team
I want him to break the record af but... hard to break Aspas's record in VCT
Yea, thought so. Fnatic 2023 was crazy impressive and incredibly entertaining to watch
Keeping favoritism out of the equation, which team has had the most dominant year in VCT history?
Out of context but it's funny seeing the evolution of Sideshow's mustache ever since Overwatch league season 1
Has ScreaM retired from Valorant eSports or did he simply not get picked up by any team for the 2024 VCT?
Mainly asking as Belgium rarely has any representation in esports and despite his team's poor performance in 2023, I still considered him to be a decent player.
Seeing these team's lack of consistent gameplay is so frustrating.
That's how you know they won't win anything this year
Americas: C9
Pacific: GenG
EMEA: Fnatic
China: Trace eSports
Where can I find the full list of rankings of Pacific mentioned below the team names in game (2nd, 5th, 9th etc)
Very weak region going into champions
They do look like amazing contenders, that's true.
TH
GenG
PRX
G2
Struggles against NRG (hella mid team) and you think they look good? That's a funny joke
Neither of these teams will make it far during Champions. Their performance has been so incredibly weak against some of the weakest teams in Americas. Imagine how bad they'll do against the EMEA and Pacific top teams.
Pacific and EMEA are diffing the fuck out of Americas. Americas top teams are struggling against their worst teams
It's over for them this year
SEN struggling against NRG
100T struggling against Furia
America's is screwed
I sense a form of PTSD from GenG winning Shanghai and SEN not even qualifying : )
Nice bait buddy, but we all know deep down that SEN fans are your average 14yo cringe lord
Oh easily. People are drastically overrating SEN
The fact that they made their match against NRG this close proved as much
That's copium. DFM played that map horribly and lost around 4 post plant rounds that any other team would've won xD
They're losing rounds that should be won. It's so frustrating to watch
Agreed, it's quite sad. I'm pretty sure the majority of people would consider GE the worst team in VCT
