More like "cheaping out" they look for the more sustainable ways to live

Keep in mind that they compete in 15 different games, and most of them are in NA, where the salaries are higher

If they focused only in Valorant, they'd have much higher salaries and buyouts. That's why they have long contracts with players

FURIA's lineup is not better than KRÜ's xd

posted 1 month ago

I just think that LOUD will get an upset here and there, but I can't put them any higher considering that they lost the best IGL in the brazilian scene and the best brazilian sentinel. Only to be replaced with a tier 2-tier 3 IGL that barely goes positive

And FURIA always play bad when I expect good from them. I expected them to have a much better roster this year, might win a couple maps against teams like NRG, 100T, or LEV. But I seriously don't see them getting far, considering that they have a worse roster than last year

2G could be in any placement from 11 to 7, but it's hard to predict considering that they're playing with 5 rookies and no spike

And I don't have any bias here, I always root for SA teams. I think that KRÜ in 2nd place is a bold prediction, but I think that it could 100% happen

And my favorite team in Americas is Cloud9, and I put them in 7th, so

posted 1 month ago

What makes you think that KRÜ has no synergy?

All of them are friends and have played against and with each other in the past

posted 1 month ago

They just look like a team that clicked, they weren't that insane (logically, since they are a new team)

And VIT just looks like 2023 NRG to me. No real IGL, you'll have Sayf giving up on his first role, the worst version of Less we've seen, and... Kicks?

I'd only have hope for VIT if ceNder stayed and if the players didn't have a history of being so toxic (Less and Sayf)

posted 1 month ago

I don't understand the NRG and VIT hype

Idc about off-season

I can't give less than a top 5 to a team with Aspas

And there's no reason to not put KRÜ in top 4??

posted 1 month ago

Adverso finished top 3 in VCL with 4 tier 3 players, and you're telling me he's a "shit IGL"?

posted 1 month ago

KRÜ's problem last year was the lack of an actual IGL and role issues

Keznit said that every player this year is playing on their comfort role

And with Abyss, to be fair, the map was fairly new, and you'll never define the meta if you don't try to cook new comps. In their case, they burnt the kitchen

I've never been KRÜ's biggest fan

But I think that this team just has every asset to be top 4 and qualify to champs comfortably

Worst case scenario, they make top 8 imo

  6. NRG

I'm down to negotiate changing KRÜ for SEN

Asuna before 2023 season basically

posted 1 month ago

Every C9 roster since 2022 had crazy potential but failed to perform when it mattered the most

I think that with Moose Xeppaa and Rossy, C9 lacks firepower or players that will always be consistently good with firepower

Seven, aproto, skuba, thief, bdog, corey, XXiF, are still options that I would consider upgrades for C9

Imagine this roster with OXY, v1c, and Rossy, but with aproto as a sentinel, and seven as a flex/2nd duelist

posted 1 month ago

We all know that C9 are off-season merchants

posted 1 month ago

He's really good at Fade too

posted 1 month ago

Idk, I like the orgs, the players

I don't really care about deportive achievements

posted 1 month ago

C9 is my favorite team in Americas and I'm kinda of worried about Xeppaa's performance

Sometimes in 2023, Xeppaa looked like the best player, and sometimes like he was holding c9 back

He's like an Asuna level player. Tier 1 level for sure, but there's just better options out there

I do think that C9 wants to keep him for a reason. And I don't think that clout is one of them

It's a shame that he always has to plays KAYO and Breach (because he's really mediocre at them), I hope he can play his comfort/confident agents most of the time (Raze/Skye/Fade)

posted 1 month ago

I think that corey would've been a much better signing

posted 1 month ago

I've played Dota (which is the same), and just like every competitive game, mechanics easy to learn, hard to master

I don't think that LoL mechanics are the hardest part of the game, especially if you watch and learn from good players

posted 1 month ago

Most players don't get better after winning internationals like Faker

Only big big upgrade I can think of is Aspas, his Leviatán form was much better than his LOUD form

And some players just keep the same form/don't improve a lot: Chronicle, TenZ (if you ignore his 2023 season for obvious reasons), Derke, etc...

The more the years pass in LoL the higher the cealing gets. So it's actually more impressive that Faker managed to win the amount of internationals he has. Same goes to Val. Players tend to get worse after winning because they can't keep up with the meta/higher skill

Boaster is the prime example of this. 2024 has been his best year individually speaking, but he looked like crap, because everyone else got much better. If you put 2024 Boaster in 2021, he'd be a middle of the pack player, instead of bottom

posted 1 month ago

To add, players change of team too much. At the end of the day, this a team game, and it doesn't matter if you have the best player in the world playing for you, you can still finish last or be mediocre

posted 1 month ago

If a Faker of Valorant to you is who gets the most titles: Probably Chronicle

If a Faker of Valorant to you is who's the the best the most consistently: Impossible to know. Meta changes too much. Demon1 came out of nowhere and had the most dominant performance we've seen of a rookie and a duelist, and completely flopped the next season. Cealing of the game is too low compared to LoL, so I think that there will never be a Faker of Valorant

The gap between sym and zekken is so big it's painful to watch

He had consistency problems in tier 2, but I wasn't expecting him to play like this

Normally, you give the benefit of the doubt to those who do not do well in the off-season

Is almost like... Players play good... When they have a good... Team environment??

posted 1 month ago

I don't think so

I think that Sentinels will actually get more viewership now that TenZ is a content creator for SEN

And Sentinels is only the biggest fanbase in the west. Biggest fanbase title goes to EDG

I agree

Nvm I thought that Sayonara would replace Kaajak in the off-season

But he will be standing-in for Leo instead

posted 1 month ago

Nah bro, no agent was able to reposition like Chamber could

His rotation capacity was insane too (only matched by Yoru TP, but he was the worst agent by far when the Chamber meta was around)

You could leave any area on the map open and still have your trip up (it was even more broken when it was two trips)

I'm sayin. She isn't that good in maps like Split, Abyss, Ascent

She is really good in Lotus, Fracture, Haven, Sunset. But half of those maps are out of the pool

She is decently viable/replaceable in the rest

I've seen a lot of discussion about this

I personally don't think that current Neon is better than prime Chamber

People tend to forget how dominant and irreplaceable he was as a sentinel. You pretty much didn't need Cypher or KJ if you had a good Chamber player on your team

Neon is more replaceable and you can replace her with Raze and Jett in most maps. However, she is a must pick in some maps

Thoughts?

Yeah, I agree

He might've as well rebrand entirely, or only keep the "Chulo"

Or do something similar to cgrs. Maybe something like papcl? I have no clue

Maybe IGN PatWat would've been nice. But the aura is not the same as PatrickWatson

And PapiChulo I can understand, nickname has too much sex appeal

Sayonara will compete with DVM in the 2025 France VCL, and will play with the Fnatic boys for the off-season
