you're right on the sentinels, vyse is getting a lot of play right now, and with cypher here and there

kayo doesn't get played in double senti comps (which are usually cypher + deadlock), but most teams stick to the double ini comps, and tejo isn't as good as kayo in ascent

but my point still stands, the map has been played the same for years even with new comps

i would agree but most teams tried to avoid icebox and ascent

reasonably so, those map are just who plays the fundamentals better

unless you heavily rework abyss or make ascent playable with comps that aren't sova kayo kj, split is fine
