I'm down to negotiate changing KRÜ for SEN
KRÜ's problem last year was the lack of an actual IGL and role issues
Keznit said that every player this year is playing on their comfort role
And with Abyss, to be fair, the map was fairly new, and you'll never define the meta if you don't try to cook new comps. In their case, they burnt the kitchen
G2 - best team last year and got an upgrade - all players contribute to round wins
NRG - best team of the offseason - all players contribute to round wins
SEN - best team in the region on paper but rely on zekken too much
MIBR - Aspas made lev relevant and will probably take MIBR to champs on last seed at the end of the year
LEV - good roster on paper but inconsistent pieces, so literally the same as 100t
100T - good roster on paper but inconsistent pieces, so the same as lev
KRÜ - have all the pieces but no synergy
2G - look promising but wont be as good as top tier teams
EG - honestly who knows, yay looks good and potter can cook
C9 - will probably get an upset here or there but its literally just an oxy 1v5
LOUD - Lost Saadhak and less, its hard to see how they will be as good
FUR - did not look good last year and did not make a major change
Yeah that record you mentioned has no value as they ended up being 4th best of Americas that year lol, I ain't saying that FURIA and MIBR are not able to win against KRU the next year but saying something like "FURIA and MIBR are much better than KRU", when they didn't even get to touch playoffs this year and KRU won against them the 2 times they faced each other + you havent even seen some of your players play in tier 1, it's kinda crazy. Remembers me the Havoc glaze and then the poor guy ended up 2 20 in a map and not being able to have a good map till stage 2
I'm not underestimating KRU, I'm saying they are bad because I know the players, Melser always left a lot to be desired, while Adverso was never a very good IGL, he played here in Brazil and was considered a joke, I think that keznit and shyy are two good players, and so is Mazino, but I have my doubts about him after everything that happened in relation to him
I just think that LOUD will get an upset here and there, but I can't put them any higher considering that they lost the best IGL in the brazilian scene and the best brazilian sentinel. Only to be replaced with a tier 2-tier 3 IGL that barely goes positive
And FURIA always play bad when I expect good from them. I expected them to have a much better roster this year, might win a couple maps against teams like NRG, 100T, or LEV. But I seriously don't see them getting far, considering that they have a worse roster than last year
2G could be in any placement from 11 to 7, but it's hard to predict considering that they're playing with 5 rookies and no spike
And I don't have any bias here, I always root for SA teams. I think that KRÜ in 2nd place is a bold prediction, but I think that it could 100% happen
And my favorite team in Americas is Cloud9, and I put them in 7th, so
KRU won't come in second place manito hahahahaha, there are many better teams, and it doesn't matter if you expect something good from Furia or not, Furia has a good line and a good coach now, their line is better than KRU's and even than C9 that you like so much, C9 is actually one of the worst teams in the Americas, a great candidate to come in last place
Who do you think is better? An IGL 3x Brazilian Valorant champion, or an IGL who spent 2 years without winning anything, and when he played here in Brazil it became a joke?
Who do you think is better, a coach whose only career title is an lcq, or a coach who is a 2x Brazilian Valorant champion?
Or besides titles, do you really think that Melser is better than Khalil?
In KRU, only Keznit is better than Havoc (Havoc will be the duelist), Shyy and Heat there are discussions (I think Heat is better)
