Marved joins Envy on loan; kaboose steps down

Marved will be joining us on loan.

A report released earlier this month by George Geddes of Upcomer revealed trials to replace kaboose were ongoing, with his substitute undetermined at the time.

Marved has been a FaZe member since late July 2020. Best known on the Omen, Marved helped the squad stand out in North America, especially as the Champions Tour kicked off in 2021. The team qualified for Stage 1: Masters 1 with an undisputed run in Challengers 3. They showed up even stronger for Masters, but fell to Sentinels' new-look roster. The team's radical rise in Stage 1 soon dropped off in the consecutive stage, failing to reach the main event of either Challengers in Stage 2.

Envy, on the other hand, has kept its status as a title contender in the region, scarcely placing outside the top 4 in major tournaments. In its two most important tournaments this year - Stage 1: Masters and Stage 2: Challengers Finals - they've placed fourth.

Envy now acquire a dedicated smokes player, just a day away from the Stage 3: Challengers 1 qualifier, where they'll debut their new lineup against Carnos Arks. FaZe, who are rumored to pick up Hunter "Inspire" Schline, are set to open againt MeowMeow.

NV is, other than SEN and 100T, the most consistently good team in NA, and I think people underrated Marved, as he is a good rifler and has a flexible agent pool. Overall a great move that could be the thing NV needs to make Berlin

his contract with faze isn't up so Faze loaned Marved to NV since when your on contract you cant break it. Basically NV agrees to pick up Marveds' contract that he was on with faze

Think of the same things like sen loaned out tenz with c9. He is just playing for envy for a little bit to see if it works out, and they probaly will fully buy him out if it works out really well.

yet orgs sign trash players with bad background history like marved and they still ignore trash and overrated players like dicey. im not saying dicey is good. its the opposite and this kind of moves should show you kiddies i was right from the beginning. orgs like envy make themselves look so cheap and bad by letting people like marved play under their name knowing this guy was mathcfixing for his own benefits!

Pretty sure he wasn't dropped for matchfixing ties and more because they wanted both Victor and crashies, with aKis being probably the weakest link on the team and c4lypso just catching the short end of the stick.
