I think that GC was a very considerate and popular move on the scene , but i think it led to the fall of viewership imo. I think instead of separating the tier 2/GC into two different things they should of left it open so we could have had more consistent tier two tournaments rather than spread the tier two (make it harder to watch and keep watch track). this over time lost its popularity fast and off season became boring, which droped our viewership numbers overall. I could also say franchising also killed the scene, but theres a reason why this page is just speculation.
