Update: Sources inside G2 confirmed that changes were ongoing. However Pyth will remain while davidp will be out of the team. G2 should comment in the upcoming days.

Specifically, G2 is looking to recruit an in-game leader to pilot the lineup, a position the team has been lacking thus far.

Prior to the most recent tournament loss in First Strike, G2 had won six consecutive major tournament titles, the most of any team in Valorant history.

unfortunately scream signed the contract with liquid so it's not really his call

liquid are vocal that scream is the franchise player, and without him, what can they really do with the remaining british core

Contracts are at least 6 months long so at the very minimum ScreaM has 2 months left but I doubt Liquid only signed him for 6 months. He's only been with Liquid for 4 months and it's likely Liquid signed him for at least 1 year so I don't think he's going anywhere.

That's the reason that these are reported as reports and not news, because it's all based on insider information. neL is one of the best in the business, and one of the best reporters in CS:GO. He's rarely been wrong in his reporting and owns up to it whenever it is.

Because they didn't make alot of progress, while some teams like Heretics, SUMN FC or FPX did. It's a bit like Liquid with their 4 UK players, they were beast while beta and at the beginning of Valorant with Ardiis (Playing for FISH123) but look at them now, they are struggling too
