1)M3C
2)Optic/FPX
3)Loud
4)Zeta/PRX
5)X10/C9
Teams like DRX,TL,Acend,V1 are strong but not consistent
*X10 has replaced G2 based
wyoa KRU was clearly really good in champions, they were counterstrating and they had really good util. You dont fluke a triple overtime on bind against Gambit. Since their coach left theyve been looking like a really weak team and NagZ is now back to being an average jett instalock who cant frag at all. Now it looks like they dont have any strats and NagZ is really weighing them down so no they shouldnt be on the list cause they lowkey looked like the worst team at masters even worse than FNC with 2 subs and NIP
ikr lol, G2 are just not it. I still think they got an incredibly lucky run in the lower brackets to be able to qual. They played against M3C that were in shambles and then they went against the common Team Throwquid and then went against FNC that were saving strats. ON TOP OF THAT they got first seed because FPX couldnt go. The amount of fortunate happenings are uncanny and i feel like they wouldnt have even made it out of groups. TL are definitely the better team but they have a tendency to start throwing when they get cocky and they just first of all play like theyre throwing and second of all they play with weird ass comps and they start taking crazy risks
I dont think Optic are FPX level, this would be my Top 5 (ACTUAL top 5)
1-2) FPX > M3C (right now M3C is dealing with D3FFOs back problems and political issues and they just arent looking too hot so rn FPX higher)
3) FNC (I cant say for sure but their 2 new signings should allow them to have more firepower which is the thing they were lacking before so im quite confident that with a few games and a month of prac theyll be back to stage 1 form or even higher)
4) DRX (I think DRX have really good setplays but they arent adaptable enough which is a bad thing. But I think they shine so much in the set plays that it makes up for that. They just need to fix their mental and Id say they could be in contention to possibly win an international LAN)
5) Optic (yea i put the winners in 5, not because theyre bad or because I think DRX are better than them but because I feel like Optic looks really different from match to match. Sometimes youll see a top 3 team, sometimes youll see a top 20 team, sometimes you wont even see a top anything team. This isnt even from match to match sometimes its even map to map. So I cant confidently say that with their weak map pool and with their fluctuations that they would be in the no.4 place)
if we are ranking teams on ability, no fucking way prx, zeta or x10 is close to top10, they had 1 good tournament where europe was going through a war and send weaked fnatic, dead team and flukers2, if this was csgo and there was a tournament every 2 weeks with at least 24 teams these guys would rarely get out of groups
ye, they performed, the best the will ever perform most likely, specially now that they have lost 2-3 weeks in iceland while gambit, acend, fpx, guild, etc.. who have way better players than them have been grinding, its the same as masters 2 last year, europe sends fnatic and liquid who were lucky then the actual good teams stay at home and keep grinding and improving while the rest loses time focusing on playing a tournament, then masters 3 big gap between top europe and the rest
you are right about fpx not being proven on lan but they just have some insane players who have some experience on lan so I dont think they should be a question mark, ardiis has uk lan experience, ange1 has played majors, shao probably played some lans from the weird cs copy game he comes from, suygetsu and zyppan only unexperienced players, I dont think they will underperform at all in a studio enviorement, only players who underperform are those who have weird setups at home like trent who plays with music or sayaplayer with his weird desk
