WHY VAL CASTERS ARE BORING?

Might be late, but after watching mixwell and nukkye dodging raze ult (which was very hard on that specific situation), I noticed the casters lack hype and energy. Very far from the JP casters I should say. Well maybe that's the reason why most of the audience watch Tarik or other watch parties instead.

English casters in val is generally very bad. Panpoc and mitch-tom are the only decent casters imo. NA casters are the worst tho, minus DDK, everyone make my ears bleed.

First time gonna be disagree with you, its cool on start, but after halfyear im kinda tired that they are overreacting for every move and repeating "trrrrriple, quaaadro-dro-dro-dro" etc
For me ideal is mitch and tom duo
They are giving background, using storytelling, overreacting and hyping when its needed, and also they are funny af

imo english wise achilios and paperthin are highly underrated, great duo of color and play-by-play casting and have really good energy especially in hype moments, def worth them checking out :)

just a shame they didnt cast more games outside of the asian scene

Valorant casting isn't as good compared to CSGO and LoL (LEC) IMO. And its not really even about the casters being bad. A lot of their styles are just more "passive". Good example is Pansy/Hypoc duo. They are really good, but their style just isn't the best for me at least. I love casters like Medic on LEC who will just go crazy rap god hype mode in middle of fights etc. while still being entertaining and being good with words, doing banter etc. Obviously LoL is different type of game. Still no hate towards Valorant casters and I appreciate their work.

What I mean is that LoL team fights are fast so you have to turn into beast mode to cast them. In Valorant you don't need this.

I mean Spanish casting in Valorant is good, but I don't understand it so I don't know how much it differs from English when it comes to words (support words or whatever), speed etc. Spanish is pretty fast language. Same happens in sports as well between English and Spanish.

thank god valorant community is finally realizing its english casters are complete crap (a couple of them are good but still not the best of the best), so dissapointing to listen to emea casters(na casters are dogshit too but they have ddk whos better than any emea casters by far even pansy) after having spent a week watching iem katowice with some of the best casters itw and lets not even talk about analysts, I want to fucking take a knife and cut my fucking ears so I dont have to listen to lothar and some of the other dogs who dont know shit about the game, give me spunj or fucking based serbians in kassad and janko even if they havent even played valorant, they would have a better understanding of the game within a week than this lothar guy in 2 years

IMO all the hype casting from spanish cast made me dislike it, i like it when the casters get hype it's for a god play and i think not being able to speak spanish makes me feel their casting are just constant screaming

if its the English casters then I agree with the exception of Sean Gares & ddk cast duo, Achilios & Paperthin cast duo, Sideshow & Bren cast duo where they are like the only VCT official English casts that made me watch the main channel instead of a watch party.
