in July 2020, becoming one of Japan's strongest teams in the following year.
In spite of a lackluster 2020, Medusa & co. spent 2021 on top of the leaderboards. After winning Stage 1: Masters, the roster traveled to Reykjavik for its international debut, where they were eliminated without winning a match. Crazy Raccoon failed to find better results in Masters: Berlin and Champions, as they were unable to advance to playoffs on both occasions.
Meanwhile, REJECT have historically been on their back foot. They attended First Strike, Stage 1: Masters and Stage 2: Challengers Finals, but only placed third in each of these tournaments. REJECT's worst VCT placements came in at the end of the year, following their first roster changes. A top-eight finish in the Stage 3: Challengers Playoffs and a top 10 finish in the APAC LCQ rounded out their year.
