Agreed, but i would say all social media (and forum like vlr) are like this unfortunately, it's a fatalism, once your social media is "popular" or your forum is centered on something popular, at any rate, rewarding (cough cough vlr.), it's going to be toxic, twitter is the same shit as instagram, snapchat, heck even on bluesky there are toxic people, (and it's actually funny that people are praising bluesky like the best social media, as if it were the ultimate non-toxic network, but bro, from the moment it's a social network, you know it's going to be crap filled with toxicity, you can't escape it.) threads, etc...
