kinda hope they copy the T1 lotus comp with iso raze, at that point they would be playing it on 3/7 maps and they perma ban pearl so half the maps they play
it was a 2-3 game where the last 2 went overtime and the third map was 13-11, the difference in the strength of the teams DURING the grand final wasnt that big, G2 look like they have kept up the form from then and T1 look like they have dropped off a little bit, its not that suprising? T1 might get back to form and be better than G2 again, we cant know until we see another international and T1 really have to lock in, but based on current showing G2 look better.
i just hope they dont take this is a sign to stop doing as many player comms as they have been recently, been making the games much more fun to watch
i mean he struggled with the pressure of it for sure, 18 year old kid has to watch his team make a GF without him have his teammate have one of the best rookie performances of all time on duelist, everyone is saying TH will win champs or do amazing at champs, then the agent hes known for gets a huge buff and everyone is saying he will fry now, and then he has to come back having taken a break from the game and perform in a new meta he hasnt practised much on, all while everyone is saying they should kick him and make woot duelist, he literally got the worst series of events imaginable in terms of stacking pressure on him, i think most players would crumble at least a little under that, he got it back under control by the time it mattered.
idk i think if you only watched good teams play against good teams games would get more repetitve, its fun seeing a stomp every now and then, and its fun seeing one of those "shit teams" have a popoff and win a map or game they werent expected to.
idk there are plenty of ppl that like players and not teams? like idrk if liquid does well but its nice to see nats or patitek play well and get good kill, i dont see why its different if ppl only care about flor and not about apeks?
i think he's a little overhyped(i think hes a consistent contender for best in the world not clear best), but still insane and still probably the best recon initiator we have ever seen, his aim is equal to any of the top tier pros, his util is amazing, some obviously coming from boasters system and plans but even his on the fly stuff was incredible, never seen another sova get as much value as him out of winging shocks while exiting a site to play retake, he's a great clutcher, but not more than other pros at his level imo, the big one is just his decision making, constantly understanding when the correct moment to make a play is, but more importantly understanding when he needs to live for his team, perfect player is the phrase people use because he never does anything to cost his team the round, their are pros who make plays and outright win rounds for their team more often (hell derke and alfa on his team probably outright won more rounds for fnc than him) but he also never loses his team rounds by making the wrong play, which as a scan init player, is more important.
dont TH and BBL technically have the same amount of turkish players? so you just need FUT to win lmao
idk what your trying to say rn? which game is irrelevant cause when you play good teams is RNG and apac having tougher teams than CN would mean you think PRX are better than EDG which is like, the opposite of your original point
he took responsibility well before TL signed him? it just got brought up because ppl got mad at TL for signing him and the person who decided to sign him made a long post talking about how he sat down and talked to him about it all and looked into all the stuff he was doing to take responsibility and then decided he believed him and that he was actually trying to become a better person.
doubt it, i think we see woot and boo switch roles, woot looked more comfortable on omen on lotus at least last year and astra is gonna be more meta and he loves playing astra, boo already has initiator experience aswell from previous years, i think TH in general will be much less committed to the idea of specific players playing roles and instead lean into comfort agents for players based on the specific map like they ended up doing for lotus last year, might see a miniboo kayo with a woot jett on a map or the yoru iso fnatic haven comp he might play iso, but i doubt he moves to main duelist perma.
