I watched the anime when I was 14 (and subsequently had one of those kinds of phases before developing critical thinking skills and realising it was a mid show) but never read the manga. I've heard the manga is infinitely better than the anime and I was planning on giving it a read. How much does it fix the problems the anime had that made me fall out of love with it?

the manga is peak, elements of the major arcana and infinite layers of meaning are hidden behind every dialogue bubble

but i can't answer your question because i never watched the anime

depends on how u feel about reading but the manga is 10x the anime.

manga provides more context, the anime leaves u with a lot of questions and the poor adaptation makes it worse.

hopefully this applies to others who watched then read the work

I have heard from friends and other people that the manga is near perfect. I also only watched anime tho so can't give my opinion on it.

read it. it’s so much better than the anime that it’s not even the same story tbh. ending is kind of mid though

Actual W realisation , I watched the anime when I was 15 and instantly became worst anime i have ever watched, the story in anime was chaotic, messy, they fucked up the pacing entirely, randomly showed stuff and just forced to connect the dots by ourselves ( this is fine normally but they did this on a very big level to make it very confusing for you to understand what is going on as multiple situations are being shown and u aren't given enough time to comprehend exactly how everything connects and what's happening), pretty bad anime, first season was really good second season fell off and since third season it was a shit show , the only redeeming factor? It's ending was good
