how do you avoid getting tilted by your friends who play the game casually and just do things that are iron plays? I have a friend whos high elo in r6 but everytime he takes an aim duel even close range he adses and loses alot of fights bcs of this. Not that I have told him that in this game unscoped is better but its habitual. Their gamesense is also baffling sometimes but I try to explain it to them, which makes me look like a smartass. I solo q and I do much better but I like having company during games but I play w other friends too and sometimes I js get a bit too tilted that I think I come off as toxic and they dont wanna duo q unless its a triple stack. Is it better if I have an alt for friends so that I play the game casually and I use my main for solo qing?

Yes get an alt or play unrated. Like you said, they are casual players and truth is sometimes even if you wanna teach someone how to play better maybe they don't care enough about Valorant competitively to actually want to get better. They may even see you coming off as nosy whenever you try explain things they may not care about at all like map awareness and such. I know people who dont care if they stay in Bronze forever as long as they can get kills here and there while laughing with friends

in my group of friends everyone besides me has peaked at silver 2. some of the shit they do is fucking absurd to me and when i try to explain why its such a bad move i sound like a backseating bitch. especially if theyre dumb play somehow works out and they go “but we won the round anyway”
