The team announced that PatMen would be joining as the team's sixth man on the roster, with no other changes made.
“As VALORANT reaches its 5th year, it's no surprise that the VCT circuit is more competitive than ever, and we must energise and reinvigorate ourselves. An injection of new blood with young eyes brings fresh perspectives to our game. Adding PatMen to the PRX family allows us to widen our experiments with a greater breadth of playstyles,” Paper Rex Chief Gaming Officer Harley “dsn” Örwall said.
The signing of PatMen brings newfound flexibility to PRX's roster. He plays the Initiator and Duelist roles the most, with Breach and Yoru being prevalent in his agent pool to start 2025. He departed NAOS in March, a few weeks after the team's elimination from the playoffs of Southeast Asia Split 1. Before NAOS, PatMen played for

After finishing second at Pacific Kickoff, they lifted Stage 1, and finished third at Stage 2. That success didn't quite translate to the international stage, though. While they started the year with a third-place finish at Masters Madrid, a playoff exit at Masters Shanghai and a group stage elimination Champions 2024 ended the year on a sour note.
At Pacific Kickoff to start 2025, Paper Rex earned a first-round bye as one of the region's four teams to reach Champions. However, their first matchup saw them fall against newly-formed Korean superteam
