How is Valorant on low ping (fiber)?

I'm moving to a new place with fiber internet. How does the game run on 10 ping? I currently get 23-25 ping to my closest server.

I'm also a Phantom abuser so I'm hoping there will be a big difference on 10 ping.

I can't use the Phantom at all on 40 ping. It's too slow for some reason, and controlling sprays is more difficult.

I played CSGO on 5 ping before and it was absolutely insane.

Update: Just got the keys to my new place and met the AT&T guy to install my Fiber. First thing I did was bring my laptop and run Valorant. I went into the range and got 11 ping to my closest server. I shed a tear 🥹🥹

imma be honest, you wont be able to tell the difference between 10 and 30 ping unless you are going from wifi to ethernet

I will more than likely be able to tell a difference. When I played CSGO I could tell the difference between 64 tick and 128 tick, even tough the vast majority of people said there was no difference 😹

nah u can feel 10-30, easily, its not superhuman, maybe in games like valorant its hardER but go to fortnite or rivals and youll start seeing it

even in valorant, you do get a pretty decent amount of peekers advantage at 10 ping

also 10 ping on ethernet and 10 ping on wifi is the same, the general notion that your internet speed in general will increase is true, but your internet speed also doesnt matter as much once it gets to a certain point. typically though gamers use ethernet

When I said wifi/internet I was mainly referring to stability as ethernet is more stable and consistent compared to wifi

Idk though most times i can't tell the difference between 9-12 and 28-32 if I didn't pay attention to my ping, I think some of it is def placebo but maybe I'm just a fake gamer (granted I play on wifi so maybe it's different)

its 100% placebo except that 1 rare time where u die to a guy lower ping than you and bullet only appears locally. For every other scenario u cant tell the difference.

a LOT of people. It wasn't until Ropz did a blind test on 64 tick vs 128 tick and got 30/30 accuracy that people started to realize the difference could be felt/seen.

after getting used to 8 ping from uni ethernet i can confidently say the jump from 8 to 30 is insanely noticeable.

30 to 50 for me isnt that noticeable but playing on sub 10 ping is just unbelievably nice

low ping is mostly good when ur playing against people with low ping in valorant specifically.

but if you get these 70 ping abusers they are gonna peek and kill u before uve even seen them sometimes

damn i have no clue how people play with 30+
in the 'North' EU premier region you can queue in to either London or Stockholm, for the first time we got Stockholm last week and man, I swear it feels so disorienting

thats the reason me and my friends have ours on paris, its worth the +10 ping to not run the risk of having to play stockholm

definitely get Fiber if it's available. In NA the most popular Fiber is Google or AT&T. Some Cable companies offer "fiber" plans but it's not real fiber though.

the jump down feels nice but it is not a tangible gameplay difference like 64 tick vs 128 tick smoke lineups

There isn't tangible difference per se but kind of depends on your rank. If you are like radiant where your skill hit platue and only way to improve is through shit like 500hz monitor, wooting rapid trigger, glass mouse pad and 10 ping, then yeah sure
