rankers to ascension?

do rankers have what it takes to possibly ascend this year?
i thought i heard a few months ago that they don’t even want to ascend, is that true?

People change so we’ll see if they want to, I can’t imagine inspire not wanting to tho, plus cane and ion are too young. Worst case scenario they can sell the spot cuz they don’t fit the org requirements anyways.

For if they can do it, they definitely are a top contender in NA but they are going to have to beat teams like M80 and Los Grandes

they cant sell the spot cause they dont own it, they would just get 2 subs if they ascended like what 2g did

its the same team tho, yes the org may change but if rankers ascend they arent giving the spot to a diff team

if rankers ascend, the org would change, but so would the team, because they are under 18

either way ascension ths year might be interesting with the new rules

but they would need to keep the core of 3 players, what Laundry is suggesting is that they sell the spot to a different team (for example whoever finished 2nd) which isnt something that riot allows

That's a different scenario, the org Sin Prisa got bought, not the spot. Is it basically the same thing since SPG only had a Valorant roster? I guess?

Didn’t tgrd sell it to G2, and then G2 picked up the players? (Could be wrong, wasn’t watching Val too much at the time, but I thought this is what happened)

the guard ceased to exist, G2 only got the spot because of that

it was a very difficult process. riots initial decision was that no team would ascend that year (clearly would have been a huge mistake) but the community was very upset so they made an exception for tgrd

I would be really surprised if more Rankers players didn't get poached before they were close to ascending, especially canezerra and ion

they are both 16 so unfortunetly, they are not much worth signing for any team that is trying to ascend and i don't see any org starting academy team mid year

I mean something like the grooming tech that sen and loud used
