based on the fact that SEN has insane record against APAC teams, they just always beat them for some reason. Might be a playstyle diff. SEN is the APAC slayer.

This drx plays nothing like older drx. Similar team to th last year. Just a firepower squad.

I’m just going by an established trend that SEN has insane record against APAC

I think SEN will probably win

But saying that they'll win because of an 'established trend' when all you've said to back it up is 'they just always beat them for some reason' isn't very sound logic imo

The entire point of this post was to point out this “established trend” and not back up my SEN vs DRX with logical statements (I can do this later)

ok but there's an established trend of at least one South American team always attending internationals so by that logic MiBR should've beaten SEN garuanteed

Good logic by SEN fan standards (the standards get dragged down a lot by the dumber ones)

Sen went equal against GENG

They have insane record against PRX... That's just a PRX problem

another interesting thing is that drx never lost a single opening match
so if sen beat them, i’ll be surprised

well yeah buzz and stax are actually chronically ill with choking syndrome. mako was the only DRX player who was simply incapable of "choking" but of course he can't do everything, and last year flashback was carrying more than his weight at internationals, which led DRX to 5th-6th at champions, which wasnt too bad but still cursed. now hopefully freeing can help out too, at least until hyunmin gets used to the international stage, because although freeing is technically a rookie, he also has a ton of tier 2 experience himself. hopefully DRX shows up for bangkok because i dont want them to succumb to the washed and fraud allegations that are flying around about them rn.

SEN fans think they have a chance against Free1ng, Mako, Flashback, Hyunmin, and BeYN lol.

Free1ng > Johnqt
Mako > Bang
Flashback > N4rrate
BeYN > Zellsis
Hyunmin < Zekken

I will say current kickoff Zellsis is at least on par with BeYN based on what he's shown in the last two matches vs MIBR and G2.

Current Sen and current DRX are quite different from the past year with fundamental shifts in their rosters, I would just wipe the slate clean and see how they fare during this match-up without relying last years performances. As far as I'm concerned this is the only 1st round match-up that feels like a genuine 50/50
