hey! did you know that you have a flag, and you have a flair? the flair is used to support your favourite teams, while the flag gives people an idea of where you are from. you are from india but you support a PH team, so you could change your flair to reflect that. but its called fakeflagging when you use the flag to support your favourite team, because everyone else understands the flag to represent where you are from, not the nationality of your favourite team. hope this helps!

I mean they are focussing on hardpower rather than softpower (like in olympics they are not goods), but i mean, being good at valorant doens't mean it's good for your country xd, it's not comparable to sports, this has an impact, esport can't and it's still not taken seriously even in 2025. So who cares about valorant ?

Nah not possible, it'll take 10 years to completely develop a PC/gaming environment in India. Rn the per capita income of those kids who grew up watching games is increasing so they can potentially purchase better gaming pc, games on steam etc.

There's a reason why steam games aren't popular in India since people need to buy them but Valo is.

But to go competitive a person needs to be focused and determined which is not possible in Indian system as people here looking for stability.

eSports will give you stability for 5 years but after that what are you going to do? Either you need to acquire skills or have a degree to get a job, not everyone is going to become a streamer.

According to me it'll take atleast 10 years to have a developed eco system

The other reason i think, beside money, is that india doesn't really care about valorant, and esport globally (yeah they are the majority on mobile), they are focusing on hardpower instead of softpower, and they don't see the benefit to invest in esport, since it's not gonna grow the country, while other softpower like sports can do (but they are not good honestly), they are just full hardpower, because that's what's going to make the country explode. Even if I think it's a shame to leave soft power aside (China does both well).

Everyone is saying no but SA looks good this year lot more younger ranked players and not just CS pros. Really competitive teams Revenant reckoning velocity all look promising.

This velocity roster looks great, I hope they can deliver on the hype skrossi can prove to be the weak link if they do make it to ascension I expect this roster to get to ascension and beat a couple teams at least
