Which VCT pros are Potential Man players, who people gas up as having insane potential that never seem to realise that potential and just fade into obscurity or mediocrity, that people still swear just need one breakout performance to be an elite level player despite said player having competed for years, seemingly destined to never realise their potential that everyone swears by

I hate to say it but I think keznit may be going on Potential Man watch as well cuz he's been touted as one of the best duelists on KRU despite finding such little success with the team

If marteen has a second mid year he may have to go on Potential Man watch

Jremy might be the very definition of a Potential Man

Foxy9 is also absolutely on Potential Man watch cuz he's been around since 2023 and is still in the "he just needs some more coaching" camp

Xeppaa would be on the list if he had potential beyond his once every 4 months life game to trick everyone into thinking he's anything but a pay check stealer

supamen is the prime example of this. he should have been in tier 1 from the jump, but didn't get his chance until recently. faze and rise were always a dark horse in early NA regionals because of him.

Entire Brazil scene outside of 2022-2023 Loud tbh, it feels like no other players have really stepped up and established themselves as genuinely top level talent. The new Loud roster looks promising tho so hopefully they can do some damage

It sucks how LOUD 2022 and its players are still carrying our scene even thou they disbanded a long time ago. Notice how every success Brazil had in Tier 1 post 2023 comes from the 5 players + coaching staff of that 2022 team: Sacy on SEN, Less on VIT, Aspas on MIBR and now Pancada back to LOUD are literally the only instances of Brazilians doing good in Tier 1 after 2023, this is NOT a coincidence. Thankfully 2G won ascension to bring us some hope but the way they are looking right now... Yeah

His aim and mechanics are good enough to do that his brain and decision making arent there yet, along with util usage

Hopefully geng coaching can turn him into the prospect every1 thought he could be

dont you see glimpses of that from every player? most middle of the pack players that have more than a year in tier 1 are almost always potential men

True but at least it looked like upward trajectory for Foxy9 + to be a Potential Man player you can't just be mid you have to have people gassing you up as the next big thing for a while, underdeliver and then have people saying you just need more time to realise your potential despite it being years since you debuted. The Potential Man formula is very specific
