Riot fix your esport

they should immediately fix their broken esport system (Obviously I know they don’t want to)

We cannot give them the benefit of the doubt anymore. It’s 2025 and professional valorant is run since 2021. We STILL have only 3 major tournaments (3 qualification tournaments like Kick-Off) for the whole year so basically 6 matches A YEAR for all the bad teams. This is horrible.

Prime example KC: Losing in such a close fashion to the best team in the tournament left them in a do or die position after ONE match.

This is not a sustainable way of running ur esport and very unhealthy for young pro players who deal with a lot of pressure and don’t have the experience to be consistent in every game they play yet. Plus there’s not enough chances to grow as a newly formed team especially since the meta changes and you constantly have to adapt roles etc

I know you won’t do anything about it riot. please bring us new skins instead, this is what the player base needs!

Yes 2 losses and the team being out until after masters is absolutely crazy. They should have a groupstage where all play all and bottom 4 teams get eliminated or smth like they used to do in NA challengers back in 2021,23

tbh I like the concept of it, it’s a new season with lots of chaos and randomness during a kickoff bracket where you only have 2 chances. Makes for an interesting start but honestly it would be cooler to have it at the end of the year

Additional note from me:
I’ve got the impression that ”riot” cares more about freaky and extraordinary events they can teaser for months than about the competitive integrity of the esport.
Do they think the people watching their esport all are 14yo‘s with tiktok-wired brains who cannot follow more than 10 games a year?
