sen were 5/6th best team in stage 2
100t beat sen in stage 2 playoffs to eliminate them and tied sentinels on champs points

but sentinels won the tiebreaker because they beat 100t in february. anyone can understand why someone would say 100t deserved to make champs, i dont know why u act like u dont. i guess its a bait comment

Never claimed I don’t understand why you would think that however that’s NOT what happened. That’s a reason… there can be a reason to anything there’s a REASON sen went to champs and 100T didn’t… because sen was the better team in 2024. but guys theres good reason why the system was abolished lol

we can all agree that the internationals should be consisting of the best teams of those region and those teams of the highest skill level at the time to represent their region
may not be the case with sentinels but giving a spot to a team for a match or series that they have won half a year prior rather than rewarding a new and upcoming team which has improved and proved themselves to be more worthy of the spot therefore sending a objectively worse team to internationals and compromising the integrity of valorant seems illogical to me, even though the idea behind that was to reward year round performance but it wont work practically

kirya has a point but sen proved themselves to be worthy of that spot regardless

Obvious ragebait but my opinion is that EDG may have trolled too hard in the offseason, and the top tier CN teams took it pretty seriously so now they're behind on practice and are still gravitating towards a lot of their ideas from champs (ie the Neon and Clove on Lotus) so theyre behind on the meta too which really got exposed with how poorly they navigated around the Vyse+Deadlock setups from Trace. I'd still be surprised if they miss Bangkok but I imagine it won't be an easy qualification for them if they rely mostly on dated/revealed strats and raw talent.
