I know that he has some reputation for not being the most credible source, but he got some NA leaks correct in the past.

Assuming this is true, W? L? or mid?

Personally, I think it's a W but I recognize it could be mid.

Mid. I think C9 should get a better shooter to help OXY (and sometimes v1c) with fragging.

Edit: Players I can think of rn are Victor, Nabil, Add3r, Thief, Mikee, Paincakes, and Sayaplayer.

How are these tier 2 players supposed to prove themselves if no one gives them a chance? I'm glad you're not a GM bc ik you would just keep recycling the same mid old washed up players bc u just find it so hard to believe that tier 2 players can be way better than some current tier 1 even though it's been proven time and time again.

neT has barely even had a chance in tier 1 either. he is not mid and he is not washed. he is vocal and he is a good fragger and has proved so vs tier 1 teams. hes perfect for C9.

yeah same, but given the circumstances, yay has been scrimming with EG for about 2-3 months now and has really good chemistry with the boys. Not going to throw it away for a team that essentially ruined his whole career. I agree though, yay would be an great option if he was an FA but they are very close to signing yay and icy right now.

I mean, idk. neT only played in tier 1 for one month in 2024, I think it was unfair for G2 to kick him at the time (especially given the Ascension run they had with him).

It would've been probably the same result if they kicked leaf for icy. It's not that icy was better than neT, icy was just a better fit for the system that G2 wanted, and at the same time, they wanted to keep leaf.

So yes, I think it was unfair.

This season's G2 was not characterized by individual plays. Leaf is a much better player, but it's not like he was the deciding factor for G2 when they played against a better team.
