they really need to increase the afk bans or at least make it so your teammates dont lose rr if u disconnect

or how about the person who disconnects loses the entire teams rr and no one else loses rr

its really fucked when you go into a game and theres 4 other people wanting to win and because of you they have to lose time and elo
how about riot refund the rr of those who lost a game due to a disconnecting teammate

tbh theres no perfect solution

do the second thing you said and people will abuse it
do the third thing and people who have a one off dc (or have worse pcs/internet) get unfairly punished

they could just make it so someone on ur team disconnects and ur within 3 rounds of the opponent (fairly winnable) u dont lose rr, only for the first half

Your team doesn't lose rr but the enemies still gain people might abuse it but if they're so desparate for rankups they would 5-stack also if you are queuing with the person that goes afk you get the rr loss as well but not the bans

They can easily do it if they want , as they have a fking kernel level anti cheat , which we don't know the working of atleast I don't.

What about power going out, internet being turned off, a BSOD, someone holding the power button, etc.? There's just too many work-arounds to keep track of, I think.

you don't get banned for a week unless you had several other offenses in the past month, not even if you went afk for a whole game

Random BSODs that cause me to miss 1-2 rounds every few games. It usually doesn't result in AFK warnings but it does on occasion. I think it's a driver problem but it only happens in Valo so I'm not super sure

I don't think the warnings actually do anything, except the dodge warnings which eventually result in a ban. I also disconnect for some rounds and they give me warnings but I don't think they add up to the afk bans, I'm not sure though

as someone who had their internet go out during a ranked game, they do not give a shit despite having kernal anticheats so they can easily see it.

My ISP went down for an unscheduled, unannounced maitenence, told me it'd be out for 2 hours, but it was more like 15 minutes, got booted out of a match like round 7 or 8, came back at 13. Was denied all RR and given an AFK ban, appealed to riot and they essentially told me go fuck myself and theres nothing they can do about either of those despite me proving it was an ISP outage. Still won the game as MVP and everything

yeah this is why i just wiped all traces of riot off my pc and told them to eat shit, made a fat buck from my account being sold too so i ain't complaining

still watch pro games but i dont think ill play valorant again especially after the last few patches

As I pointed out in my comment #13, they do not give a fuck and likely won't do anything about it as they continue to actively ruin the playing experience for their players. It'll get abused one way or another. Kernal level anticheat and they still can't tell whether your wifi went out or you closed the app which is crazy.

Its the same thing with why not add a resale market for previously bought skins, maybe I can make some money back off overpriced shit
