Gukesh new choker? Always had great starts but blundered in the middle. Ding on the other hand loses it completely in the first half but turns into god mode while defending.

either that or ding gets an advantageous position and then just forces a draw instead of trying to convert

Not a choker it's because he has a different playstyle that's why the engine doesn't agree with him sometimes and he still converts the position in his favour

ding's prep is known rn to be bad. he didnt prep much i hear while gukesh is following stockfish lines so im really surprised ding is doing quite well

ding no prep means hes using lots of time in opening. however im ngl his middle game is highly impressive rn as well as his defense. gukesh seems rather underwhelming. in the end with each draw this leans further to ding.

imagine if Ding's prep was good too

this year doesn't feel as hype as last tbh

tbh i feel like it might be over for gukesh he will probably lose in rapid and he doesnt have enough white games left. prep is also dry so ding is favoured
