Get a 5th gen Ryzen if you wanna get more frames ^^ I can easily lock the game at 400fps and it basically never drops below 300fps with my 5800X. A 5600X would yield almost the same performance as well. Your GPU should be irrelevant if you play at low settings.

I jumped from 60hz to 144hz after 6 months 144hz to 390hz.. and...
You can feel the difference between 144hz to 240hz if you're getting a BETTER MONITOR
If you're using 144hz from AOC for example and now get 240hz BenQ you will feel difference, huge asf.
144hz to 240hz will not make you play any better to be honest because I've already seen some 240hz AOC downgrade to 144hz (New version BenQ) and 144hz from BenQ with less ghosting makes you play better at spraying, flick, etc.
Good 144hz will be superior > 240hz
But if you're getting a good brand 240hz you're fine and you will feel difference between.

BenQ is better
Even BenQ 144hz is better than 240hz from AOC (Because AOC 240hz is old 240hz generation)
imo 144hz NEW GENERATION >>> OLD 240HZ GENERATION (because blurry, ghosting, many others problem)

the difference is there, definitely, esp if your fps is consistent 240+, but i would recommend a better mouse for sure if you actually want to improve

the thing that is normally said is that extra hz in your monitor doesn't really help with your gameplay, but rather just makes the game feel better to play :D
