Ik they’re a bit bigger than dk but how is it fair that they just buy their way into t1 while orgs that invested into t2 have to grind it out. If this is true why would any reputable org ever bring a team into t2 and risk losing ascension and getting nothing.

I mean G2 did it and no one had a problem with that even though you can say that they put money in tier 2

Hm I thought g2 was a special case because Guard exploded.
Oh well, thinking about it a bit more I guess these guys are also taking a huge risk buying a potentially one year spot too. We’ll see how it goes. Hopefully the cost is enough that other orgs will still find value in getting a t2 team.

HLE n KT already well known in LoL in korea so Riot wont have any problem with them buying the slots

HLE has crazy budget, KT has been around LoL since like 2012 or 2013. In a way, Dplus is a random org in terms of years active. I doubt Dplus has the budget of the 2 orgs mentioned too. Its just the way esports works, money is a significant factor in franchising.

dont jump to a conclusion, it would be naive to change your igl and the 5 of them showed interest in staying tgt. He might just be late in posting or the contract is not finalised yet.
