in what way am i "fetishizing" the concept of tac fps? im simply making an observation that the phantom is dramatically overtuned and way too versatile a rifle in its current state when compared to the vandal

probably revert the distance buff, nerf the recoil reset, and then maybe lower both vandal and phantom bullet count, vandal to 20 and phantom to 25

i think since Bangkok/Stage 1 pros finally realized how broken the phantom is, feel like its so much boring now to watch a round with 6-8 phantoms and people just getting lucky or random spam kills or running kills

i genuinely dont think we were watching the same thing man, he was selling constantly. dont get me wrong hes is generally a solid piece on a stacked team and hes played okay on TE so far, but he just has so so so many stinker maps

i mean i went from consistent 400 fps in game to now not even getting 180 consistently in TDM with constant stuttering and slow tabbing in, no idea why it cant be just a random fps drop. it also happened literally between games of ranked, like randomly after one game my performance turned to shit for some reason

anyone else had random like 200 fps drop with massive stutters on val in the last couple weeks? no idea why this has occurred to me but think its the old voltage issue w intel cpus, wondering if anyone knows fix

i think just buffing other controllers is the move, omen has already been adjusted so much; i think reverting some of the astra cooldowns, removing team slow on the harbor wall, and then either making brim smokes two regenerative ones or giving him four would be really good balance for the controllers imo.

id rather quite literally every other initiator in EMEA before pati on my team besides MOLSI and flyuh, Liquid could easily upgrade him and kamo and become a top team in the world consistently

patitek is sadly horrible and beyond saving

keeping BeYn is definitely valuable, but i think Estrella is one of the stronger KR IGLs at the moment, i really only think they could upgrade by getting Banger and while i rate him really highly, im not really sure if hes the caliber or style of player that DRX are looking for

now that there is a proper window and LOB is a free agent from SCARZ, imo he is the best upgrade you could get to BeYn and turn DRX into genuine world-beaters... people have no idea how good LOB is and he is incredibly experienced and reliable, slotting him right into a mid-rounding initiator role would allow free1ng to go back to senti and DRX would be incredibly complete

dont watch a ton of RRQ or SEA in general but everything ive seen from grumble i feel like he would be an insane upgrade to xffero

im feeling good about some things and tentative about others, honestly very strong about HYUNMIN and Athan they are acclimating very well and Athan has insane flexibility, util, instincts, etc. for such a new player. and even tho HYUNMIN has to reign it in some rounds where overheats (i think he is rather new to neon at this level, and may play less of it after the nerfs), i think he will be an absolute beast going forward. the only real concern is that free1ng's role switch and taking on IGL kind of changes this roster's peak from the previous iteration with him on senti; individually on RA, he looked like a surefire top 5 player in the world imo just on individual skill, his positioning, pre-aim, flicks, multi-kill ability was just absolutely different when he was on his most comfortable role w out calling, i think the roster could have done better w getting maybe yoman instead of Athan and having Flashback play flex, but ig another concern could be why Flashback has switched roles so often and always landed back on senti; could obviously be cuz hes insane on it, but it could also be he doesnt like changing roles or has some kind of issue with it

if saka is a corner merchant, palmer is a bottom 10 prem team and pen merchant

thing too is that these players are just like developmental anomalies. they pick up new roles and exponentially improve their mechanical skill compared to other regions. like KR and CN easily have the players who just grind the most based on rumors, esp the stuff about how much EDG and the KR teams prac, the academy systems, etc. only difference is the top KR coaches/IGLs have a way better current understanding than CN, they lack a lot of top callers and particularly initiator players.

i think if u really watched tier 2 for a long time, you would know mada used to be a somewhat inconsistent player that had some insane peaks but also didnt always really perform to this level. i think a full 2 years of development sticking to only duelist has helped him a ton, his old performances on flex were not nearly as good
