I wonder why ScreaM is attached to Valorant, even though he doesn't have a team anymore, why he doesn't want to go back to CS so much? Is there any statement from him that explains this?

I love his dedication to Valorant esports. It is common knowledge for every valo nerd that the game as an esport competetive shooter is dying (especially tier 2). I once heard leaks that ScreaM was supposed to play for Team Falcons, I don't know why it didn't happen, because it could have been a game changer

washed on cs ? u can debate that but if u go hltv u can see him on top 50 player stats wise with most of his games on tier1 so i dont know which washed type u talking about.

come on bro, he was one of the first arrivals, played at tier 1 from 2012 to 2017, then played at random stacks, last org was gamerlegion where he posted a mid 1.05 rating, no one gives a crap rn about his heroics during grandpa days

these stats are irrrelevant, his stats dropped with every year of competition, 1.01 on lan against tier 2 is not good (https://www.hltv.org/stats/players/7390/scream?startDate=2019-01-01&endDate=2019-12-31&matchType=Lan), 0.98 against top 30, which is pretty much the upper tier 2 level, is bad (https://www.hltv.org/stats/players/7390/scream?startDate=2019-01-01&endDate=2019-12-31&rankingFilter=Top30), from 1.30 in 2012 to 1.17 in 2013 to then dropping to around 1.1 with all the big event filters

take a look at the overall stats and if u think 0.98 is bad ur just clueless on cs teams. based on your opinion everyone under 1.10 is a washed up player lol ?? then everyone under top 30 is washed up ? bruh

PS: consider other factors like bad team mates/coaches too dont focus on him alone + he didnt finish his contract with gamerlegion due to stupid team management..

long term past and short term past are two different things. since scream has left there have been 5 different majors, 4 new major winner orgs, dozens of new players entering top 20, plenty of new orgs debuting at tier 1 events, meta changing, etc. That's like asking if you worked out this day or 3 years ago, does the work out 3 years ago hold relevance today? there have been way more accomplished players also falling off, dupreeh, magisk, snax, pasha, taz,neo, stewie2k, autimatic, kennys, fallen, coldzera, fer, olofmeister, guardian, NBK, kioshima, electronic, flamie, get_right, f0rest, JW, Flusha, etc

Just get the guy under a structured IGL and unleash the fucker. I so wished Ex6tenz would have picked him and coached him in Gentle Mates, given their history together

it does. to the teams looking for young jacked talents, the only way you can stay in VCT as a 30 year old is IGLing (Ange1, FNS)
and Scream couldn't do that

He consistently put up numbers in ACS, damage, and kills. Also his experience in tac fps has its own weight in gold, so age doesn't really matter unless he's fallen off severely. He is also very consistent as well

He wants hardware for the game. In CS, his aim was insane and he always got recognition for his mechanics and got some silverware, but he never won a major and he probably wants to go out with a bang(winning an LAN or smt). ScreaM just had a bad season bc they put him on IGL, something that he barely or never done. I think put him on his normal role and with a solid team he would do great.
