bro nobody whos not a c9 fan thinks valyn is better thna mako lol. s0m is washed, tuyz is mid, bang is just from sen fans who are on max copium and kiNgg might be deserved cause he actually performed in champs.

very few people are better than mako like karon(best controller of the year), tenz(he performed but as a pure smokes I think mako is better), boo(performed better), kiNgg (performed better but doesn't have the consistency), smoggy and chicoo(performed and shot better) and a few here and there

i like athan as well, but i would rather have mako on pure smokes personally. i dont doubt any of them though. just pure roles and comfort wise yoman in theory wouldve been a better fit

based on the agents they are playing in ranked, it looks like free1ng is gonna be the senti.

Usually, Flashback only players duelist and senti in ranked, so when he started playing sova and fadei thought it was bc they switch him to scan, and i was right. Recently, free1ng who usually only plays senti and clove in ranked is playing a lot more scan initiator.

Keep in mind MaKo was performed better than Karon in both kickoff and stage 1. Only reason Gen G made it further is bc they outclassed DRX in every other role

people just look at stats and trophies to back up claims which isn't an unreasonable thing to do but they gotta look at a player holistically. maKo is consistent, has been doing well performance wise since the vision strikers 102-0 record. its just that people see that he hasn't won anything and see that younger players have flashy plays and win some silverware and say "he's fallen off" or "other players are way way better"

tuyz is not better, ive been rating mako is the one of the BEST to do it on controller but im ed because i dont have tenz over him who insta locks 1 agent with 1 year of "okay" success

nah,Mako is still one of the best controller now,before he switch to IGL,he is the best solo site defender,but put him on IGL role make him cant aim like before,we can see he have more bad timing than last year,but look that 1v5 TH,he still is the best controller when he don't need focus on call.always respect for him.

no one thinks of him as someone outside top 5 controllers. He's always been in top3, or top 5 after taking on igl. idk where you getting these narratives but no one who actually watches VCT puts him OUTSIDE top 5.

i dont really click the "list your top 5" in vlr, especially in the off-seasons. too many biased delusional zero brain merchants in the thread. but I gotta tell you, anyone with brain puts mako in top 5
