Are we seriously gonna act like GE didn't have an open trial and that the Indian players didn't get a chance to prove themselves?
An open trial is the best chance you will get at being in a roster
You can be a ranked demon and still have the chance to be in the roster
If no one made it, it just proves how half baked out region is
GE had no hand in how they performed

I just want indian talent to develop man. If you look at every ascension we don't understand the game to a high level. Small things like map knowledge trading is not there.
The only way this develops is indian team scrimming with GE. The owner promised a vcl sa roster lets hope he keeps that up

You are just giving excuses, any SA team can scrim with any vct team of Pacific and GE don't have to make a separate team just to make them play scrim.
SA already got so many imports(few are already in franchise) , good coaches , even after that players are not improving.
Here players are just want to make money they don't have any goal of winning vct. Orgs should stop playing these lazy bums. Not a single guy is in top 100 leaderboard.

India is just as washed as Indonesia is in PUBGM

First of all, India's PUBG competitive scene got affected due to the game being banned in the country. 2021 PMGC performance was India's worst performance yet but since the game was banned in the country, they could'nt scrim against other region teams. Now India doesnt play Global leagues and has its own tournaments of BGMI.

They can just pick 2 cracked Indian talents and develop them with other international players but they just refuse to do that they love their washed cs frogs rossi and LF too much.
I am pretty sure if they picked Techno or Venka in previous vct circuits and develop them around the international players and coaches they would have performed 100 times better than Rossi and LF.

Being an Indian myself, even I don't support the notion to field Indian players at the highest level atm. eSports is a loss making business, orgs rarely would want to put in money and effort in nurturing talents. It's just with time people will start getting chill with their kids playing pc games and not consider it a taboo. And then we'll show you what India is capable of.

The problem with this line of thinking is that it turns into a self fulfilling prophecy

Strip a region the chance to improve and of course they wont be as good. It would be like if we didnt have China or Pacific at all since they were borderline irrelevant until last year.
The whole "why waste slots" thread spam, was/is utter bs. And thats the problem here too.
For a healthy (as in competitively, not monetarily) t2 you need a steady flow between t1 and t2. T2 players getting the chance is obvious, but t1 players returning back to the region is just as important. It funnels experience back into t2 and pushes the level of play. Neither will happen if theres no SA players in t1

It shouldnt be a full SA roster, that would be suicide for the org, however none is also problematic.
We know Riot doesnt think like this so its not GE doing anything wrong mind you, but criticism from fans is perfectly valid and should be encouraged, to insensitive orgs to take care of their respective t2 scenes (obviously shouldnt shift over to hating on players like it did last year; thats going way too far and just being an asshole).
