Are women allowed to play for VCT tier 1 teams at all?

Like, i know GameChangers exists for marginalized genders exclusively but can a GC player go to VCT? If not why? There's no way women and trans people are just forbidden by Riot to play VCT at all... right? But if they're not, why isnt there a single team with women on it? I mean there's no fucking way none of the +40 franchising orgs ever found it a good idea to have atleast one women on the roster.

Bro there HAS to be something im missing here. Google didnt gave me the answer but maybe im just stupid and cant search things properly

i dont know man surely at least one women out there is good enough for some struggling org that cant find a decent roster. I watched GC grand final last year and some of those girls were looking pretty sharp to me but maybe thats because im hardstuck plat 3 so what do i know

I don’t think ranked is as good of a representative since a few gc pros are rlly good in ranked

vania ranked stats are better than a few tier 1 pros, and I think Flor has rlly good ones too

But most gc teams even at the top employ some very mid players. Like ascendant/low immo

They look pretty sharp against each other but not against non-gc players if you are keeping up with premier you will see the best team Shopify rebellion is struggling against tier 2/3 teams such as like Maryville University and won premier I believe to qualify to NA Challengers stage 3

while it seems sexist yeah this is the correct answer why

although I love SR, when they played NA t2 teams they were not doing well at all, and flor was the only one who was holding her weight, but she was cracked out of her mind and I think with some development could def be in tier 1

hopefully if the right development comes to GC then we see more cracked people from that scene go into tier 1
