nah china was always going to be a trophy contender. It was more about a matter of when they would. Yall might be young and new to esports but korea and china are on another level in this. When they embrace a game it aint good news for the west. But ngl its really hard for a single region to be dominant in val

not to take anything away from you but in valorant scene, CN was always the most disrespected region up until this tourney. Whether it was predictions or performances. Since its changing now, would defo like to see what people think of china

why do you think it's hard for one region to dominate? I think it would be really easy for a team like EDG to dominate, there will be no better offers from other orgs, unlike in americas or emea, so they can stick around together as long as they want to

the growth is insane considering it is the 'newest region', plus the addition of S1mon makes EDG look like potentially the best team period.

I think the region is as strong as its strongest representative, just the fact praccs will happen only cn vs cn, maybe cn vs apac will just lead to the meta developing there and due to EDG probably having the perfect comp rn amongst chinese player, and EDG having the money to hold onto them, I feel like they can legit dominate

imo its cause valorant is way too rng maybe after a few more years and many many patches later but we ll see. And tbh its just going to be too competitive for 1 region domination

any rng gets countered by a better structure. rng was pretty much the only thing keeping leviatan alive yesterday.

I agree but sometimes its genuinely one of the reasons a team wins or loses and imo that aint really fair. You could be winning the macro game and still lose the round because of rng, or maybe thats just valorant but idk. The amount of times ive killed and died by the most random shit in val is wild.

I think we already know how good china is after bilibili 4-0'd us and trace, EDG cooked lev and sen. And it's been only a year. I think in the coming years china is going to dominate. We might even see China vs China in the grand finals.

nah give it some time, if we were getting a final like furia vs mibr at champs(hypothetical), itd still pull numbers since they hype the event so much plus we got tons of neutral fans of the sport who watch all the games without a viewer bias

well i think fpx edg and trace look pretty good. i udnerstand why people call chine the worst region because a lot of the teams are still kinda lost but give it some time and they will DEFINITELY all get better
