eh I kind of agree that this meta is boring to watch but you seem to forget that we used to have pearl B site retake simulator in 2023 too and watching bind B retakes last year was horrendous since they'd almost always save guns instead of actually trying.

in 2023 only pearl. in 2024 bind b site, sunset b site, lotus c site pretty much hard to retake. problem is teams cannot be creative. they running same shit.

Actually i don't like this meta. sova is fucking op since game start. cringe double initiator meta. last year was teams can cook anything, like double duelist, double initiator, double smokes metas(teams can be creative). this year same style gameplay from every team. when watch matches, only team i can found being creative this year was GenG. but not from agent comps, like little adjusting's with utilities.

P.s only reason why we didn't see as much retakes in past valorant esports is because teams were dogshit but gradually they have all improved. Current BLG would have 3peated 2021

That's simply meta change. Most teams adapted rather than improve their individual roster. What the argument is here is that the level of competition is so much closer because of the retake/post plant meta. It doesn't allow for creativity as much, and it relies on very similar set plays between different teams. It feels to viewers, like it's the same thing over and over. It might be the best thing for the teams to do, and I'm not blaming them, but when it comes to viewership, it's definitely underwhelming.

Well all I can say is that's tuff for New valo frogs whose first tacfps is valorant.

All I'm gonna say is as teams keep getting better and better (which they will), we will see alot more of retakes and executes just like in CS
