if you can find a clip i'd love to be proven wrong, but i'm pretty sure he never really shit talked

posted 1 month ago

Jaw was pretty quiet overall. Ethan was less talk, more shooting bodies/tbagging and shit. Boostio and Demon1 were the two that were vocal about it.

Ethan shit talked a decent amount, actually. Jawgemo and c0m were the ones that never shit talked.

In terms of any match besides the Grand Finals this makes since. Not for the Grand Final though.

cant compare best team of all time against these other teams

posted 3 months ago

This is an inconsistent statement. "If you can't keep a diverse map pool you should be punished in a finals."

I agree, but then why should Fnatic be allowed to ban EG's good maps and also have their first map pick?

posted 3 months ago

Be fair. The map vetos were fucked for EG.

I think a more fair showing was the lower final. 2-1 with insanely close maps.
Even the grand final, every map besides I believe lotus was as close as could be.

I agree and disagree with this. I do think 2023 EG had the single highest peak of any team (although 2023 FNC was very close) in Champs 23. But if we are talking of all time, one tournament doesn't define it.

It's also unfortunate that they didn't get a chance to prove themselves in 2024. I truly do believe if they had more time together they could have been the best team in the world again. They seemed to bond like nobody else and truly had the chemistry required to be a winner.

Because it's quite literally impossible to enjoy a team when 50% or more of their fanbase is completely braindead. I have massive respect for the players, they are insane, but the fans make it so insufferable.

That's simply meta change. Most teams adapted rather than improve their individual roster. What the argument is here is that the level of competition is so much closer because of the retake/post plant meta. It doesn't allow for creativity as much, and it relies on very similar set plays between different teams. It feels to viewers, like it's the same thing over and over. It might be the best thing for the teams to do, and I'm not blaming them, but when it comes to viewership, it's definitely underwhelming.

? The favorites were Fnatic easily, and I would guess most people would've taken LOUD over EG as well. EG might have been a top 3, but saying "everyone knew" is disingenuous.

What if I told you he was the 2nd highest behind Ethan?

bro has nightmares about old EG.

posted 4 months ago

Depends on what you would consider a flex player

posted 4 months ago

that was their second match after Madrid, and it was the first match loss after beating GenG in the finals. While Stage 1 wasn't prime, they were still the best team, and the team to beat at that point.

posted 4 months ago

thats why he dropped a nuke on prime sen, and were the only reason LEV won that series.

in terms of pure aim, 2023 Demon1 might be up there

not this year tho, his aim just didn't look as sharp

posted 5 months ago

Rating doesn't count just ACS. Demon1 also wasn't even playing in Lock/in. Fact of the matter is, Demon1 showed up when it mattered most, and he showed up in a way nobody has done.

posted 5 months ago

in no universe are leo and alfa better than Demon1 last year. in champs last year, he had double the rounds of both alfa and leo and yet had a higher rating than both of them. he was also the highest rated player in champs last year. yes alfa and leo did better in tokyo, but where it counted more Demon1 showed up better than both of them.

bro is fuming when he aint even plat

lmao you're the biggest shitter on the planet.

posted 8 months ago

eh, he was about the same yesterday id say.

posted 8 months ago

Combination of them not having enough practice + them playing poor on Sentinels best map. If they ran it back, I'd still give it to SEN, but I don't think it would be 13-3.

posted 8 months ago

I am quite literally a MASSIVE NRG fan. But as of right now, there is no "best in the world". You put aspas, Demon1 and Zekken in a lobby together on any team, any one of them can be the top fragger/most impact. It just depends. I'd say Demon1 has the best aim, but zekken is the better raze and aspas is more experienced. I don't think you're understanding. I'm not calling you a bad guy, but when you consistently just force these incorrect takes down peoples throats on these threads, you make NRG fans look bad.

Also Less isn't a duelist and yet he's still insane, so he's also up there.

posted 8 months ago

You are the reason NRG fans are shit on. Demon1 is one of the best in the world yes, but saying he's better than aspas or zekken or even vice versa is just wrong. Any of them can be the best in the world on any given day. Yesterday, Demon1 was better than aspas. When SEN beat NRG, zekken was better than Demon1. Simple as that

posted 8 months ago

Keep proving my point.

posted 8 months ago

SENs fanbase is worse than NRGs. Straight up
