The odds of him making the same amount of money from a regular job from college is extremely low. If zekken wants to do something then by all means he should do it.

Just because you want him to motivate you to play valorant and not go outside, doesn't mean he can't decide his own future 😭having a college degree is crucial for making plan B if plan A (Gaming) doesn't work out. I don't think you understand how much he makes. If he manages his finances correctly he earns In a month, as much as the median US person does in a year. That means in just over 3 years (we are currently near the end of year 2) he will have made as much as most people will make in their life. And allat is without even considering the fact that he probably makes more from brand deals and streaming
If he plays for another year he will get paid at least 600k USD (50 Crore INR). Ofc that's without taxes, but streaming and brand deals will easily more than make up for it. In the US you can enrol into college at any age.
If he goes to college, he will (imo) 80% never play in tier 1 again. Things like mechanics start to go away when you hit like 25 ish, and that's just assuming that VAL esports will still be around in 5 years.

You completely misunderstand the entire argument. Zekken is currently in his best spot financially, thus, going to school is absolutely pointless due to his current success. To put in better terms, such a spotlight is lucrative and if he leaves for school, he literally won't be able to have a job concerning esports, due to school overriding practice and games. Additionally, school is open to all ages, therefore, a college degree won't be as vital at this moment. He'll definitely lose more money if he quits esports and streaming altogether, prioritizing school.

He is one of the few players that can actually have longevity in this game. Top duelist that can play every duelist & great flex player at such a young age. He show constant improvement and has no sign of slowing down. He is also in an org with one of the biggest fanbase which make it easier to become a streamer. If he want to get a degree he can always do it in his late 20s or smth. Right now tho would be a waste of his career
Also he said he would retire after winning champ which makes no sense. When a player win champs they usually can demand a higher salary & their stream usually grow. Retiring after winning just kill the momentum of your career.
