Could be visa problem for outside japan

Some example of visa issues:
TLDR: Not everyone has 1st world country passport to travel to Japan, some could take 3 months +
This is why I said "barring a few regions". This has little to do with being first world. Vietnam isn't exactly a first world country, is it now? Neither is Philipenis, whom are easily getting VISAs in Japan nowadays because it was made easier for them in the new law.
What Riot should do is help these players (who are not the majority) get the VISA. You're telling me a company like Riot can't manage that? If the Indian players couldn't get VISA in most countries, should Riot switch the venue to India? I don't think so man.
So the problem has to be riot's scheduling and scale. The 1 month gap is clearly not enough. But riot can't forward the schedule much more as that would make sp1 pointless(if they aren't already).
Let's be real, an indonesian or Indian getting a visa to japan will take a long time unless someone hand over bribes 😅. So in the first place , the decision to hold ascension in Tokyo is already a bad move.( counter point : prx can get the papers done going to masters berlin while bren esports couldn't , so the orgs can also be a factor when we're talking about visa

And also riot pacific wants to save money 😅

Its actually easier for indonesian and Thais to visit Japan since Japan gives free visa for 15 days for both countries. But other countries in SEA such as the Philippines, Vietnam, etc who attended ascension this year does not have the same priviledge like the others.
JP Valorant comfirm ascension moving to Jakarta

I actually think riot is to blame here.
Rage ( the japanese TO) mentioned about unable to maintain :
Streaming availability(?) ,Tbh i have no clue what this means. It could mean from lack of proper equipment( not likely) , to streaming rights issue (clash between soop and YouTube? But I can't see how Rage is affected by this. Etc)
Restrictions on tournament format ( you can cross this out, this is riot's decision)
"potential risk of a deterioration of the playing environment for participating teams" ( its probably visa issues)
Regarding visa issues, you also have to think about the orgs participating, maybe it could be the orgs who are unable to competently get the visa in time ( remember bren incident in masters berlin)
In short; I think riot promised to much and rage is just the half scapegoat 🤣, however the condition is too vague (either by purpose or not ) to point fingers at anyone

Riot's format was not received well from community so they made change. So to play double elimination bracket they had to extend tournament for a day.
Most of the venues are reserved as much as year before.
But Rage could not get venue or extend as all of the venues in summer is already reserved. Which resulted relocation to Jakarta.
Rage probably had to pay fines for cancellation.
So riot did not save much money for relocation, it might have been more expensive to relocate.
In the future, some venues are going to reject hosting esport events based on this event making it harder to host another event Japan.
This is general sentiment of Japanese community from what I've read.
Wait so rage couldn't get an extension ( which is impossible from the condition you've just pointed out) , for an out of a sudden decision that riot made?
Yeah I think rage really had their hands tied.
Hot take, I think riot pacific is really a bad business partner for RAGE. This information if true actually says a lot more about riot than RAGE to me. If I am RAGE's CEO I'll be putting Jake sin's head on a pike right now 🤣
Assuming that all of this is true ofc
