Looking at the opening ceremony in France, I start to be convinced the first master of the year should be an outdoor event in place with an amazing architecture (or maybe even natural place)
Would be cool. I think many TOs get scared off because of past outside tournaments, but I think we've come a long way since 2015 and could probably get past some of the issues inherent with outside tournaments (i.e., weather, screen glare, networking).
The big issue would be power delivery. Unless you put it somewhere there's already a connection to the power grid. You're either having to spend the money getting a connection out to where you are, or are going to have to get solar power (which would be highly impractical).
What did happen in 2015 ?

Any pref places you want to see ?
I'm biased since it's near where I live, but the Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado would be cool.
