The level of skill/teams in 2024 seem way less stronger than teams last year. Last year EG, PRX, LOUD, and FNATIC all had a good chance to win champs going in, but this year it only really seems like GenG and FNATIC.

FNC look incredible and G2 look unstoppable, you can at least add those 2
plus if TH find form again, then thats 4 teams + SEN if they find form again
LEV have aspas and VIT have Sayf and Trexx so yeah
EDG and FPX both look strong but maybe thats because china is still a little behind
PRX and DRX are also underdogs rn
i think TH can find form and maybe even sen. as for LEV and VIT, one or two players wont make that much of a difference in a whole tournament. maybe they could carry a match or two, but towards top 4 team games it wont work. i also agree CN is still a bit behind and statistically havent done really well in internatinoals. i could see a PRX revive.
i shouldve worded the title a bit better, but for me i guess i meant like truly promising champs winning teams. i can def see a world where GenG or FNC win it, but not other teams. TH G2 PRX DRX LEV are all incredibly strong dont get me wrong, i just dont see a world where they could win it in a good fashion in their current forms. MAYBE g2
As you said, I would put G2 in the convo as well. As for lose, I would say like it would be a 70 / 30 favoring teams like G2, Fnatic, and Gen G. I do think they are favored, but I believe the games would still be close and potentially result in an upset which I think would be fun to watch. There would be way more close games than one sided beat downs if you put any of those teams that you listed against G2, Fnatic, and Gen G.
i respect it. the only doubt i have is that NA even though everyone says its a strong region rn, top of NA seems really weak compared to the top of EMEA or APAC. (i dont watch CN so idk). if G2 can convert their dominance internationally i 100% agree.
GenG PRX DRX and FNC VIT TH as top 3's seems way stronger than KRU LEV G2 for me

thats such a lie dude. most teams have a shot at making the top 8. LEV may have not had the best masters experience but you cant count out Aspas. DRX, PRX, TH as well as SEN also have a very good shot. Idk what youre yapping about but the amount of talent is insane, youre only narrowing it down to a team that was good last year and a team that has evolved meta on every single map this year. Plus the addition of a new map, its sure to shake things up. Fnatics chance at doing something is small, especially the results they put up at masters but we'll see where it takes us
i never said they wouldnt make top 8? my whole thread has been winning, grand finals, and top 4 placements. without a doubt DRX PRX TH LEV and SEN have a chance to make it to top 8. and im not talking about FNC's last year, if you actually watch their gameplay everyone is in form. nobody ever said the talent wasn't enough.
