How has Sentinals qualified for champs through Champ Points if Sen and 100T both have the same number of Champ Points(12) and 100T defeated Sen in the Playoffs to move ahead?

If they weren't going to included h2h from 5 months ago, the overall records shouldn't have been combined then. They should have just considered stage 2 performance if that is the argument. I will agree the format is shit, but I mean if they're combining stage 1 and 2 performance, they should include the h2h in that too right?

The point of Kickoff was to qualify for Masters Madrid, Duh. Why is a match from 4 months ago given same weightage as a match 1 week ago? I don't mind considering the round robin season match but considering a qualifier match from a completely different event doesn't make sense

Well looking at a single game from a week ago would not be fair because 100T lost 2 times to sentinels before that, just because 100T won 1 game out of 3 means that it could have very well been a fluke and that is why they look at h2h's even if its not actually a fluke.

The format is braindead, but if the record from both stages are going to be considered might as well include all h2h. If they only wanted to include matches from just stage 2, then 100T might not have even made playoffs, 100T went 2-3, tied with LOUD. Furia actually would've been in top 6 for stage 2 performance having a better record than 100T

if you're saying kick off shouldn't be considered then there's no point of champions points because champs points make sure the team that's been playing well the entire season get's a spot if they fumble in playoffs

also the tiebreaker also considers intl games but since both teams didn't attend a tournament together and never played each other only 3 games were considered

The champs points earned from kickoff should be considered, but the qualifier match from kickoff shouldn't be considered. Also 100T played well during the entire season, that is why they have the same points as Sen.

100T didn't play well the entire season, they only played well during masters shanghai. Even during stage 2 they didn't play all that great.

Well 100T has 12W to 11L while Sen has 16W to 8L so even if you look at the win loss record Sen has overall played better this season, and it was the fact that kickoff didn't give any points otherwise Sen would have more points than 100T

100T won stage 1 which was way harder than kickoffs. Made top 4 in shanghai which was a way harder tournament than Madrid (sen couldnt even qualify btw) then beat SEN 2-0 in stage 2. 100T deserves it

baba what are you yapping about, both shanghai finalist were on Madrid TH got grouped and GenG were top 2 on Madrid, so don't start crying about tournaments being easy or micky mouse lol, and btw the season record was 2-1 for sen against 100t, yes 100t isnt that good, yes they are mid, yes they only won because of Fluke performance from bang and Asuna and this should be clear 100t cant win if cryo,eeui,asuna,band go +20 across 3 maps they are talented i give them that but their only wins were because of the heroics of these players.

format sucks, but every team has had equal opportunity to make it to champs if they just win games they need to win. 100t would’ve made it if they won against furia or didn’t choke against loud

if you don’t win the right games, you don’t go champs, simple as that
