Hmm... Okinawa was known as the one who cheated in Apex as well but I don't think he got caught because of it, maybe it was only an allegation. Yeah, it's about whether Meiy knows or actually is clueless about Okinawa's cheating and willingly to duo with him. Well, he is kinda convincing maybe because he has a lot of pro friends? And he usually duo-ed with them too. I don't really know much but he usually streamed with his handcam on and also had a lot of viewers. Like fr I know a lil bit about him only when I used to visit smth's stream. Maybe because he didn't get caught for so long by the vanguard, I think that's one of the factor why everyone kinda believed in him PLUS he joined like an org too so those kinda add up...

I'm so pissed. Just yesterday I was reading a SepiaMars blog on the recent updates for Okinawa and there was nothing. The moment I slept all this drama happened. Now all of JP vlr is talking about this.

I think Meiy is going to be fine. Riot has never been one to set standards. If they were, Meiy would have surely been penalized in some form. But Okinawa has duo'd with too many people. Banning so many people at once and also a high profile player like Meiy is not ideal. It will mostly be a slap on the wrist and a statement from Meiy.

And also, it's only a few people who are mocking Meiy, the usual crowd who mock everyone. In fact, I'm seeing more people (delusional people) still in support of Okinawa. That is more crazy to me.
Japan is so starved of talents that they are latching onto a cheater in hopes to make Japan proud. If FL/RID doesn't win Ascension it's cooked.
