NGL today I have seen so many people saying Rise will beat 100t . Like wtf there is no way that is happening. Same amount of people were saying XSET beats 100t and C9B wins LCQ. I really wanna know why people think so , like some definite evidence. And dont give shit takes like b0i is trash and they will lose cuz of him because he was not that good against XSET and geng too and they were far harder opponents than Rise and yet they won

LG is a VERY strong team on LAN. In fact, they get a SUPER HIGH LAN buff.
Please stop with this shit take saying XSET isnt second in this tourney. Now that is just being a delusional dumbfuck. 100t might choke to rise or shanks might go super saiyan but it doesnt change the fact that overall 100t and XSET are way better teams than rise
It wasn't a LAN buddy. There were also loads of technical problems which could've turned the match to any side
I just had a look at XSET's matches, and tbf, they actually haven't faced alot of T1 teams

Recently, they've only faced Sentinels, Envy, 100T, LG and Rise
The last time they played any of the other 4 teams (Faze, Gen.G) was back in Challengers 1 in March
C9b is definitely not a very good team and nor is the current FaZe. They lost 2-0 to V1.
C9 has never achieved anything so far in valorant . But then again, valorant is unpredictable. Almost no one thought envy beat sen 2-0 in berlin and no one thought 100t would play the most entertaining match in the world vs gambit and acend
Yes, both teams aren't good but most of the pickems and opinions led to the fact that C9 would be the one to reach the upper bracket finals. Rise have already defied most expectations by making it this far. I personally think 100T will win, but we shouldn't count them out of a surprise owing tot the unpredictability of Valorant.
No way a team doesn't analyse another teams strats because "they thought they wouldn't reach them."
It would be valuable information and strats that they could learn even if they don't make it
Even as a Rise fan I expected Rise to actually lose to C9 and make a lower bracket run (https://www.vlr.gg/pickem/0ae01fc3), but from what i've seen, they look REALLY strong.
Rise has banned Icebox in both series against Faze and C9, meaning 100T definitely can't pick it
100T has played the other maps in the LCQ so Rise can expect some of their plays
Both teams have practised Breeze, so we really don't have a clue what will happen tbh
Coming in, i'd like to believe that Rise has the upper hand because of confidence, momentum, analysis and an equal advantage over map pool
Just looking at the LCQ stats, Rise have only played Bind once against Faze but they beat them on it 7-13
But then again they also beat Faze on Ascent 8-13
Keep in mind against C9 and Faze Rise actually picked Ascent, so Haven may not be their strongest map now
They've also looked pretty strong on Breeze, so idk
Im guessing Rise bans Icebox, 100T bans Bind, and who picks maps first or second but i'm thinking it's gonna be Split, Ascent and possibly Breeze if 100T picks first or Haven if Rise pick first

Split is a 60/40 to 100T tbh, it just depends on b0i and Asuna's performance
If it's Haven I think Rise would look very strong
If it's Breeze, I think it'll be 100T's win

Rise have been playing great this tournament and just beat cloud9 which most the other teams in this tournament thought they were one of the best because of how good they were in scrims. Rise are already warmed up and confident, while 100t haven't played a match in weeks and they're also worse online than on lan. Also Rise and 100t have literally never played each other before so you don't know how they will match up.

Sure you want facts but the way you're responding to these messages gives off the impression that no matter what Rise will get shit on and destroyed and that us Rise fans should just expect a loss and to be in the lower bracket(Isn't that what people said when Rise was against C9?)
From what you're saying, why should valorant even have tier 2 teams or teams that are 5th or under in terms of ranking? They should all just disband because 100T is going to destroy everyone and everything and then play in LCQ, so surrendering is the only choice.
