Essentially, it comes down to the academy players basically being subs who can be promoted if they do well enough.

2. That means none of the players are being used
3. That means s0m is being wasted

My point exactly. They're not playing. He's being wasted because he can't play any matches, regardless of roles or whatever.

You also have to consider how much NRG is paying him, even though he's not playing, it's probably safer career and finance-wise to stay on NRG even when they're losing.
