never really looked into tier lists in the community but why im i seeing all these big names like TMV and sliggy rate G2 so poorly? did we not learn from Tokyo EG to not underrate teams bc of name tags? They're at worst placed 5th-6th but apparently LEV, a team that's 90% dependent on aspas, will do better to the majority. some major hate cope going on I swear.

icy is a rookie and lets be honest pretty mid, last time the guard was on stage they got steam rolled. The entire lev roster has more experience than g2 which is why theyre being rated higher. if g2 make it to playoffs I will be pleasantly surprised. They CAN make it, but i think icy will drag them down.

this int experience talk is a garbage coinflip that gets completely disregarded when a team doesn't fit that narrative and then highlighted if they do. G2 have been playing better val than LEV for a long ass while now, they deserve to have higher expectations. icy is the only question mark on the team, meanwhile the rest have been playing in Tier 1 competition for years.

G2 players are internationally UNPROVEN, last international turney (Reykjavík 22) the guard core making up so much excuses for their poor performance like Trent not able to play music, LAN jitters and mCe crying post interview cause PRX "trashtalk" them. Only leaf won an international game before. Won't be surprised if they make excuses like jetlag, language barrier, or the recent "no gluten free food" from yesterdays press conference.

I dont think it has anything to do with them being unproven
at least from platchat, sliggys streams and the acend podcast (tmv) they all always just talk about the last 2 games g2 played

the lev game was super close with 9/10 pistols won
And the g2 100t game was just bad
So its just that they didnt like what they saw from them

I wouldnt rate them below t1 like some analyst are doing, thats madness, but not having them in that top 5 cluster is reasonable no?

recency bias = g2 was abysmal against 100T + the fact that LEV is more favoured should there be a rematch vs G2 anyway due to them being more 'proven'. again, its just another opinion so idk why you are so mad about it. just move on.
ps. its not according to me, they literally mentioned it in the stream that they will look at the recent games

my guy, G2 literally knocked LEV out of the tourney, in what universe if we're talking purely from recency bias does G2 losing 0-3 to 100T mean that LEV is potentially better than G2. G2's last match before that final was beating LEV.
