The reason so many people fell in love with NAVI during and after Copenhagen 2022 was because they pulled of the craziest lower bracket run in the history of Valorant. Apparently you weren't around to watch, because they played with Seider for the matches up until they had to play Guild, and that's when the run began, when Suygetsu came back into the team. He absolutely activated and played insane. That 72 bomb against FNATIC in the lower semis says it all.

The cinderella run for FPX after facing so many challenges through that year, not qualifying to Reykjavik and then having to play with a sub for half the tournament and STILL looking better than the rest of the world, is why this team will always be top in the region even when they get bad matchups or get fucked by the format. They have demonstrated peak player quality, insane strats, ahead of the meta thinking, and overall a fun and entretaining playstyle. Their form hasn't looked as peak as back then, I'll give you that, but to claim the team that pulled of the craziest run up to EG Champs is absolutely braindead behavior.

By the way, I love how you say "lost to optic trolling comps" when half the time FPX themselves are trolling their comps. You say Neon on Icebox is troll, but nothing on Ange1 playing Fade? Choose what argument you're gonna use, and stick to it, you buffoon. And what's funny is that that's a single map where OPTIC decide to pull a surprise pick, and honestly it's justifiable considering the Neon meta at the time plus Victor having crazy movement on the ropes.
