According to a preliminary report by George Geddes of Upcomer on the move, T1 were experimenting with major roster changes that would affect every player except for Rahul "curry" Nemani and Timothy "autimatic" Ta.

thwifo has been inactive from XSET XSET Inactive since the beginning of July as the team was making sweeping changes to their roster that eventually netted them a fourth place finish in the Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs and second place finish in Stage 3 Challengers 1.

Recently, thwifo joined Andbox Andbox Inactive oderus Chad Miller mummAy Anthony DiPaolo Lear Dayton Akau Jonaaa6 Jonard Penaflor vice Daniel Kim on a temporary loan from XSET for the Stage 3 Challengers 2 open qualifier, but failed to qualify for the main event after a nail-biting loss to TSM in the Round of 16.

T1 have not earned enough points to participate in the NA LCQ, and have not been seen in tournament since Stage 3 Challengers 2, where they missed out on qualifying for the Challengers Playoffs after a loss to FaZe in the second round of the lower bracket, marking the end of their run in official Riot tournaments for the year.

Why leave once they start getting the best pieces. Autimatic is on the verge of being a top 10 duelist and could grow even more, Curry is great in pretty much every role and can only improve as an IGL, Spyder is returning after being inactive with his wrist injury and now they are getting thwifo who is one of the best sentinel players in NA. Then they can choose to bring back Ska as their 5th, who is solid and has a shit ton of experience in tac fps games or pick someone else up. Everything is starting to match up with this roster and this would be the worst time for them to leave.

Maybe top 10 jett player in NA a year ago but definitely not top 10 player. Either way Autimatic was so damn good on jett and raze that it makes no sense why they would switch him off of the main duelist role when it was 1 of the only good things about their last roster.

nah skadoodle jett was reallyyy nice, i don't think it'll be the same now with how much everyone has improved but it's still the move to make (no matter how late it might be)

He was pretty inconsistent and Autimatic was amazing on jett so, again, it doesn't make sense. Also it's way too late. I didn't like when they took Ska off of Jett in the first place but, at this point, why not just keep Autimatic on jett?

Ska's Jett was a little overhyped, against tougher opponents he A. has played less games than Auti all time and Auti just picked up the agent and B. performed pretty subpar, while Auti looks like a top 5 Jett Na in recent showings, I get the thought process for T1 where they're trying to maximize impact from players in their support roles and let Thwifo play an FNS, Zombs, Ayrin type role of Anchor

T1 Literally lost Crashies and Víctor cause of problems with Ska, T1 will do what Ska wants, even tho Auti is, in my opinión, a better duelist.

considering ska has been outspoken about not wanting to play duelist in the past, this comment makes no sense. Do I think Ska on Jett is the right move? No i wouldve replaced him but what you said is a lie lol

I cant guarrantee that Thwifo is a top 10 Sentinel player we have not seen him play in months he is a very smart player but I personaly cant say top 10 till I see him play that being said Thwifo is a really good adition to T1 makes their Defense a lor stronger

He is definitely a top 10 sentinel player. The only players that can be argued to be ahead of him would be dapr, fns, zellsis, Ayrin, aproto, XXiF, Oderus and steel. Some of those guys already are a stretch and in my eyes he's 4th behind dapr, fns and Zellsis. Maybe if you want to use the argument that he hasn't played in a while and stretch even more, you could say he's 11th by including mitch and BabyJ or something but, again, that's really stretching it.

I mean... This isn't necessarily a bad move I just question whether there's any real direction with this. - brax + thwifo seems like a move that won't really drastically change too much unless thwifo is igling for some reason

I mean Thwifo is def an upgrade over Brax, he plays the sentinel role at a very high level and is arguably a top 5 kj na, plus having agent flexibility to every sentinel, viper, and breach. He has double the experience brax has at a t1 level and against t1 teams for Valorant and you likely won't be able to find a better sentinel player than him. Seems to be a pretty good move as long as Ska comes back to sova

Kinda like the guy above was saying, thwifo is a top 5 sentinel player in NA and also they already have Curry as their IGL so that isn't a concern. This is a great move for T1 but the only bad thing is that they are supposedly putting Ska on Jett and moving Auti to sova which seems like a braindead move to me.

Side note I thought Ska didn't want to play duelist? Idk T1 still seems just kinda floating around with no real direction altho I guess we'll just have to see them play.
