why does everyone hate fnatic so much
They qualified by beating out shitter teams they could've aim diffed anyway; when faced off against actual teams they fall apart from all the antistratting
Not playing for a good regional placement is the dumbest shit I've ever heard, if you play well regionally you get better playoff chances. This isn't 2023, they don't have a free Masters ticket anymore
First things first, It's important to note that every team fails at some point or another to anti stratting, and it's important to have a good strategy but it also makes u vulnerable to anti stratting as seen above with just this year.
and while it's true that teams play to secure a good regional spot, it's equally important to show up when it matters. Take T1 for example, they didn't put in maximum effort during the Pacific rounds, yet they managed to make it to the playoffs finals by performing when it truly mattered. It's not about 5-0ing and using everything in the league, but about being strategic and effective when it counts.
Even when they won they would drop maps to teams who realistically they shouldn't and it was CONVINCING they were getting like 13-4 repeatedly this split. Something isnt holding with this team and just barely qualing for playoffs should speak on it, but I dont dislike them and majority of the people that do jus do it for the same reason a EU person disses on SEN
boring as FUCK gameplay for me personally. Just not fun to watch so i support other teams bc id rather see them play at intls because theyre more fun.
Other people hating bc fnc was good last year and the fans were dogshit so its kinda less about hating the team and more about “lol ripbozo fnc fans in shambles”
