people really only watch tenz bc of his skill or bc of kydae. I don't know about you but he barely talks or reacts to anything when I watch his stream and just plays ranked and talks about mouses.
Once he stops competing his viewership will drop a lot but yes I meant his pro career not his streaming career.
firstly he would be very busy focusing on building strategies for his team and for their opponents and trying to improve team moral and confidence and probably barely had any time to do individual analysis' on the SEN players.
They had already tried role swapping before but this did not work out well btw.
pulling things out of ur ass, drewspark said they are already aware of the issues with the players on their team plus fns quite literally called out sideshow for criticizing without knowing actual things that go through a professional player's head and also coaches ALWAYS talk to players 1 on 1 and fix individual mistakes you have 0 idea a to what ur talking about
Drewspark legit said that they only tried to fix some of his issues towards the end of the season and said that they had 0 stability that season.

Nobody including the coach knows what is going on through a professional player's head apart from the player.
Like I said they tried to fix some of the issues but they just had no stability and had already undergone a bunch of changes already.
Sideshow actually discovered Tenz starving in a indigenous hut 20 years ago who was pre-seemingly abandoned by his clan on the outskirts of Nunavut during an exhibition trip across Canada led by Drake, where they would then go on to discover the land that we know as Toronto as TenZ was nursed and cared for throughout their journey.
you're boiling it down to "he made the video for views" and that vid is just him criticizing Tenz's gameplay for like an hour straight pointing out stuff that's again surface level (which is most likely on purpose for the sake of the audience). My guy doesn't just get a pass to do something like this because its TenZ when again there are other players in Tier 1 who are also popular that've been performing way worse this year (Asuna is one).
He's outing TenZ purely because of his following and nothing more and that's both petty and lowkey disrespectful no matter how you put it. It was a great vid at the time for sure, but knowing that he never did something like that again for other players is just weird. Just because its for content purposes doesn't mean it gets a pass.

If sideshow made a video on asuna instead you could simply use the same argument and ask why didn't he make one on tenz instead.

He is not "outing" Tenz but he made a video highlighting issues with his gameplay for his audience to watch.
fns literally called out his ass on it.
for example, sideshow criticized a play by pancada and fns explained the thought processed behind that play as a pro player.
sideshow doesn’t understand the nuances behind every play, strat and he doesn’t have access to comms. idk why people are listening to to an analyst who’s not part of the team.
the statement made by fns goes for everything sideshow was criticizing (you can make 1.5 hour long video on every single player in valorant critcizing them but it doesnt matter when the whole team is dogshit), only an actual coach/player would know the intangibles sideshow just yapping for the most part, tenz is a team player and always has been he will do what his team wants him to both in old sen and the new one
Being a team player doesn't mean you're immune to making mistakes. I'm sure there was nuances missed in some of the scenario's in sideshow's video. That doesn't mean everything he was commenting on can be hand-waved as "simply not understanding the context" of the situation. There were mistakes that tenz was making that were simply his own. Not everything is black and white but there are situations that are. And ultimately the conclusion he came to were;
- tenz switching off duelist
- focusing on supportive agents which fits his play-style
- looking to expand his agent pool
This is exactly what the team has opted to do of their own volition which makes it obvious that sideshow's assessment of tenz in the video was spot on. You wanna shit talk an analyst that literally pour tens of hours into watching and meticulously analyzing a player with constructive feedback. You're just talking out your ass, regurgitating bullshit you yourself don't understand. Pretending as if your concern is actually well meaning. You're just upset because your favorite player may have had his feelings hurt.
What you're saying is nonsense. The video isn't actually meant for tenz directly. It never was. It was for the community to give them an actual idea of what's going wrong with Tenz's play and what he can/should do to improve and find more success overall on his team(He says as much near the start of the video). It might be obvious to an analyst/coach but it is not to the majority of community since they lack the ability(or willingness) to actually watch games from an analytical scope.
And since he's stating the obvious, he clearly does know what he's talking about.

Sideshow was professionally casting overwatch for years before he moved over to valorant, which he has also now dedicated countless hours to watching and studying.
