As most of the teams upgraded the rosters well, here are teams who went backwards:

GE: all players inferior to previous lineUp, clear observation.
Loud: Aspas was the crucial part of team, qck or tuyz would nvr replicate him that in dat way.
Mibr: Mibr
DFM: DFM
C9: On paper, they look weak, but with recent pracs and build up they look gr8

(Not considering EG-NRG possibilities for now)

Good season this would be with onli 4 ds

But new PRX increases the agent pool COMPS by alot for PRX, so its subtle good, they can be even more unpredictable and experimentive

saying that monyet is a downgrade is crazy, bro singlehandedly carried GE to multiple rounds and even some map wins with his pure ability, let alone he plays 3 crucial roles (Sentinel, Controller + Duelist) all at a high level, no shot he's a downgrade.

Monyet and Jinggg are very hard to compare, but overall I'd probably call it a sidegrade. They're different players, and Monyet won't do exactly what Jinggg has done for the team, but he will add more versatility, as he has shown this year that he can be an absolute top-tier controller (I mean, his IGN starts with M, right)

Liquid on paper downgrade, but Apeks flawless victory, provides them consistency which Liquid lacked a lot...
Its the same case as C9 so i would consider dat upgrade

For Giants Botgar anyways bring more experienced IGLing than Rhyme, so its good for them, considering they already have good firepower

maybe you're right about liquid, but rhyme is a much better igl than redgar. it's kinda like how koldamenta is very experienced, but no team is willing to pick him up.

Liquid atm is literally nAts+mutts, I hope for a CIS superteam in franchise so that bad players stop ruining nAts' career. Demon1+zeddy+Shao+sheydos+nAts would own fr, but lulquid management are too stupid.

The problem with Redgar is that even prime Gambit sucked on attack. We didn't notice that as much in Berlin because they got carried by individual performance. Redgar might be a great CT IGL but that's just not enough.

Sayf was literally the highest rated player of the team at every single event liquid played. He was also the highest rated player (tied with Alfajer) in the EMEA league.

I'm still with you that nAts was the most important player on that roster, but Sayf was definitely good this year.

hard agree, sayf had some insane games stat wise but he could get over confident and throw some rounds by over committing (not calling him bad as him and nAts were the only reason TL could do anything last year), nAts was so important to TL because of how solid he was every single game

i’ve learned not to doubt LOUD whatever the move while saadhak and Less are still on the roster. note: they didn’t try to replace aspas, they looked for someone who fits the team, which happened to be qck.

and you may say “k shidoh, but he’s still not aspas”. and fine, aspas is a tier on his own, but WHAT IF qck introduces a play style that makes at least 1 player more comfortable than before? not to mention they all evolved. the rookies (cauanzin and tuyz) evolved, gained tons of experience, they are more confident than ever. that being said, LOUD in 2024 could be as strong as they were in 2023, or even stronger. only time will tell.
